About divorced women, there are also divorced men with equal ratio. Same goes for widows. No matter what twisted logic I apply, it just statistically doesn't add up.

@NurHasanEmon3 @jalalbalti If I being rich (I don't think Prophet was) marry 4 poor women, giving them barely an hour a day each would get away with this. It may seem fair but I would be exploiting those women's vulnerabilities. I could marry one and treat her fairly.

I am questioning this dichotomy itself.
Equality doesn’t always mean fairness. Given Muhammad’s social and political commitments, could he truly give each wife fair time? I struggle to balance a wife with a social circle of just 4-5 people.

@EMAM_Speaks Sunnah generally targheeb Hoti hai, ijazat Nahin. Ijaazat ka maaamla quraani hukm se teh ho gya. lekin nabi aur sahaba ne kasrat se shaadiyaan ki. Which means yeh targheeb hai. Aur boht se logon ne Nahin bhi ki. Hence farzi NAHI hai, Aur completely irrational hai aaj k dour mein.

@Phatymarh44 If humans are machines, Islam and the Quran should be their manual, if true. But if the machine runs better without the manual, doesn’t that call the manual into question? If non-Muslims embody Islam less yet often fare better, shouldn’t we assume the Manual to be false ?

@famguye Is that why religious minorities are being squeezed every decade ? Holi in QAU was criticized largely in Pakistan and then banned. Every 3 month, a church fron Faisalabad/Jaranwala is set on fire. Qadyanis do not even get the petty right of minority. Are you blind to all that ?
