A week later the university executive voted for the cuts 'unanimously', based on a business case full of factual errors and inaccuracies.

Sorry to hear about news of humanities cuts at Chester and Aston. We said last year that Portsmouth was the test case for this and now VCs have been given the green light to slash anything they like.
