#MUNMUS2011 I diagree with Wald's assessment. Although his assessment is true with some songs, often times song covers can be just as good or even better than the original. In my opinion, it's all about personal preference as some artists may change the style of the song.

#MUNMUS2011 The music is considered "schlock" because the value of the music has been changed. This is considered cultural theft and was unfortunately the normal. It is also important to not dismiss the music because it can be appreciated in all forms.
