This happened to my son at @AndersonAutism More to follow. This institution is a disgrace. Taxpayer and Medicaid dollars used to abuse the most vulnerable. But for the video taken by the whistleblower, my son may have been dead. My son was physically and sexually abuse in broad daylight in front of other students and staff members.
Host Tracey Spencer Walsh, a special needs attorney, advocate and a supporter, sits down with Anil Babbar, attorney, technologist, and founder of @GuardianWatchAI, for a gripping and deeply personal conversation about transforming tragedy into innovation.
It is essential that the American public fully understands the extent of the abuse endured by our most vulnerable citizens, especially when it is happening under the watch of taxpayer-funded systems.
The nation must confront this injustice directly to ensure accountability and protection for those who cannot protect themselves.
My 20 year old autistic boy was abused physically and sexually at @AndersonAutism
The abuse was caught ONLY because the whistleblower had to take matters into his own hands and took a video of my son’s abuse.
Please watch and share it with your network.
Cameras are a must. Guardian Watch AI LLC is the solution.
“We as a society will be judged by future generations for how we treat our most vulnerable. Right now, we’re getting a failing grade.”

Our story deserves to be heard.
Our story is painful and we are hoping if we can save one life, one abuse, one day at a time, it will be worth it.
My son was physically and sexually abused at the hands of @AndersonAutism . I do not know how many times. It’s gut-wrenching to receive a video from a whistleblower of your son being abused in broad daylight. Tells you the culture of the institution.
Since then, my son has had nine hospitalizations in 11 months. I can’t count the number of medications, additional diagnoses & side effects of his medications has destroyed my son’s well being. He screams, he relives his abuse, he calls out his perpetrator’s name. It is not easy to help an autistic young adult who has trauma and PTSD.
The abuse is happening while the employees of these non for profit organizations & using tax payer dollars to pay themselves. Medicaid funds are used. The general public needs to know.
Isn’t it enough for special needs parents whose kids, some of them at least, may not be independent, may not go to college, get married, have kids are completed devastated, crushed and mourn the life they once dreamed of. I accepted my son’s diagnosis at 18 months. It is also my duty to protect & advocate for my son who can’t even understand what abuse is. My son’s rights were violated, his privacy was violated, his trust is broken.
It has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I know this is an uncomfortable post. But this is my reality & I am living it.
I cannot give enough kudos to my son’s dad Anil Babbar @GuardianWatchAI for what he is doing for our son. The man deserves an award.
I also want to give a big shout out to Path 2 Potential, the agency who gave us a life line. Jason Lantier MA, MBA, BCBA, LBA you have been nothing short of a blessing to our family.
Our story aired by @fox5ny’s Teresa Priolo has been nominated for
NY Regional Emmy Award. For our family, it’s not about the nomination, it’s about the support & commitment by Teresa and Fox5 team members. Please do not make this political. We are all humans trying to protect our loved ones. Everyone has the right to live a life without abuse.
Last but not least, I want to sincerely thank my employer JPMorganChase and my manager, leadership team, my colleagues for the tremendous support they have provided me. I couldn’t have asked for a better work family than this.
If you are a parent or just someone who cares, share our story and help us get justice.

Corruption and fraud. Our vulnerable being abused. Using tax payer dollars. State and federal Medicaid funds.
Physical and sexual abuse at The Anderson Center for Autism (https://t.co/WCwBUGbwMy) is common.

Today, my son’s perpetrator, Garnet Collins who worked at @AndersonAutism in Upstate New York, was sentenced to 1-3 years imprisonment for his heinous act of abuse.
Garnet Collins grabbed my son’s genitalia and dragged him across from one room to another in broad daylight in front of other staff members and students.
Anderson Center for Autism turned a blind eye and let this abuse happen in broad daylight. It wasn’t an isolated incident.
While we are in the midst of crisis, my ex-husband, Anil Babbar, is working hard in getting his company, Guardian Watch AI, LLC off the ground. Please watch this episode to get an inside look.
