@Connor27331524@realJoelFischer As recently as 2011, when Jerry Brown (D) took over from Arnold Schwarzenegger (R). Things change, and they can change again.
@Grizzlygames247 But the red areas are where people don't live, and blue areas are where people do live, and that's why elections come out the way they do - because they are determined by vote count. 2/2
@Grizzlygames247 Then neither of us understands, because I'm arguing your point - elections are determined by vote count alone.
It is Joel Fischer who is trying to make a density argument. He points to vast red areas to claim that CA is a red state being cheated by a blue minority. 1/
@Grizzlygames247 Seats are won by the candidates who get the most votes from registered voters. Rattlesnakes, sagebrush, and road signs with bullet holes - the chief occupants of CA's red areas - need not apply.
@danoboltup@iamgabesanchez The city is mostly blue - e.g., in CA Assembly districts that are all or partly within Los Angeles, Rs don't hold a single seat. Even if the average R precinct counted slower than the average D precinct, it would be unlikely that you'd run out of D precincts first.
@danoboltup@iamgabesanchez They might know more about voter registrations and election history of precincts already counted vs. precincts yet to be counted than you and I do. If only blue precincts remain, numbers for Bass and Raman will grow while Pratt stays flat - Bass runs away, Raman catches up.
@drterrysimpson@HalCranmer This guy is saying, kiss all the frogs and a couple of them will turn into Wright brothers.
I don't care how he runs his personal life but it seems like a low-percentage way to encourage technological innovation.

For the longest time I thought it was evidence for my suspicion that pop song lyrics make no sense. But I was just wrong.
