Looking forward to seeing @GrumpyOldRick in St Albans on Thursday. Bittersweet, first time without my dad who was a big fan and regular at Ricks concerts (last one aged 89 in February in Brighton). We played Gone but not Forgotten for the visual tribute at the funeral
@piratejw @TiggyWalker@lizziebarn@Dr_Paul_Thomas@BBCRadio2 Listening now, been listening since the early 70s - fond memories of the Top 20 reveals. Saw you live in Dunstable just before lockdown, great stories! Thanks for the music. Love to you and Tiggy.
@sleeepysandy And as dad’s driving licence and passport had expired, the blue badge was the only valid photo ID he had - which was of course required to be on the parked car. Try explaining that to a jobsworth in a bank
@sleeepysandy Applying for my dad’s badge was straightforward but renewing it was a nightmare, as the council sent the form late and there was no online option. We had to use the out of date one for over a month
Thanks @brian_bilston for a great evening at @StablesMK . Hope you made the bus! The @BellAndBear book club were out in force after enjoying Diary of a Somebody
@British_Airways nightmare BA188 from Newark. Even worse arrival lounge closed in T5. Surely with all the delayed transatlantic flights you could have stayed open so your ‘valued customers’ could get a cuppa while rescheduling transport etc.
@OlneyOxfamshop refreshed and restocked, ready for tomorrow’s grand reopening. And yes, the vinyl cupboard and listening station are back! #oxfam#olney#vinyl

After a few months of being closed the #vinyl cupboard at #Oxfam#Olney is open again, along with the usual bargains and listening station… 1/

@Ben_Everitt@BorisJohnson How is this in the national interest? He has proved that he does not understand the first thing about leadership. I cannot believe you could even consider him a suitable candidate given his track record
I look forward to working with my new @IAASB_News colleagues and congratulate Sue Almond, Julie Corden, and Josephine Jackson on their reappointments.
