Build in public, they say.
Build on the side, they say.
Well, I did none of these things.
Not much social media presence, no "I quit my job/was fired and moved to another country to build apps from there" arc story, even though it's actually true.
Just focus on building and go public when I feel I have something substantial to show.
And oh boy, that was tough. Struggling to organize myself, and then slowly building things up.
But finally, after months, the time to step out of the shadows has come.
I'm launching a beta version of @TekyousStack - interactive tech stack builder and tools directory platform.
You build up your tech stack on an interactive canvas, with real-time recommendations saying whether your tools pair well together, or something is missing.
Happy to connect here, and I hope that I will be able to shift from this "build in the shadows" mode to sort of "build in public" mode now 😅

What is the best ADE just in terms of user experience, and how it feels to work with the interface?
Right now I use @herdrdev (in iTerm2 terminal), and while it's a great tool, being contained in the terminal sometimes makes it feel more limiting than smooth
For instance not being able to just drag&drop an existing tab onto another, or on the other hand without knowing a couple of keyboard shortcuts navigation might not be so easy
So an ADE that is a standalone app rather than terminal-based would probably fix all of these and more, but at the same time will probably be way more heavy, so potentially not being so smooth either
So how does @t3dotcodes or @orca_build compare here? Or something else feels very pleasant to use?
@tonychang430@herdrdev With new ADEs being launched almost everyday, looks like it will be at least a 50 episodes long review series 😆
I really like Herdr, although being terminal-based sometimes feels like a blessing and a curse at the same time, where some more simple drag and drop could be handy
So is the era of 'just run Claude Code on a VPS/old laptop' already over before it has really started, and now we will all just spin up VMs for agents in the cloud?
Curious how it will evolve, but seems like that's the direction.
Stop using your laptop / Mac mini / VPS
Introducing https://t.co/4l37UGfjiU, cloud computers for AI agents:
- 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM spun up in <1s
- Built-in computer use
- Snapshots for easy cloning
- Persistent files, packages, config
- Public URLs for local ports
We're launching today through an invite-only beta program.
Early access includes 20 vCPU, 40GB RAM for free.
If you want to try, comment or DM me.
Solid list! Although for some tools might seem to be upside down 😅
But I'm slightly confused about Tern, which somehow I never heard of.
Based on the logo I assume you mean this one still in beta, by Stencil: https://t.co/X8qaj8luIV
But seems like there's another one: https://t.co/QBltrhtyTQ
So is 'Tern' the most popular name for ADEs, and these two are just separate products apparently ? 🤯
Babe wake up a new niche for indie hackers just dropped
Time to update an old meme 😅
Although it looks like @ThatsPranav was working on it before @marclou
But it's beehiiv in trouble, Resend in trouble. Who else? 😉
I reverse engineered Resend, and it's 78% cheaper.

Oh, and it receives email too, not just sends it.
@sergeynazarovx For every successful idea there will be at least a few people ready to unleash a full power of AI on it and spend long days working on a clone
But if you don't really resonate with the problem, don't understand the depth, then your chances of success are slim to none
@NielsPosts_@b4dgerr Or you can skip the traction requirement (min_faves and min_replies), so when you sort by Latest then you see posts with less engagement, hence potentially outside your network yet :)
@kamilbaranek_ Haha, who knows. Maybe SpaceXAI infrastracture is not ready for all of us, wannabe influencers, trying to refresh the analytics page every ten seconds 😂
@raybunii Thanks for showing it, looks very cool, especially considering how much time I have wasted on manual directory submissions 🙈 But as of know I will probably restrain myself on launch on more directories 😅
I should be writing guides on how to fumble on Google Search:
- add many thin pages without much unique content
- most likely get penalized through one of Google's spam updates
- push more content again, this time more unique, but without much more recovery actions like gaining some external links
- gain some initial traction, but then start dropping again 🙈
This is still better than previously, as I should not drop very low, but still a lot of work to do.
Content curation is one thing, but also having more backlinks that are not only launch directories will probably help as well.
And what is your way to recover from initially terrible SEO?
Other people doing 'happy to connect' posts:
- tons of reactions and new connections
Me doing 'happy to connect' post:
- 👽👽👽👽 (most of views are my refreshes anyway)
Maybe it's just me 😅 or my bad wording not hitting the algorithm
Of course can be a survivorship bias, and I just don't see the other posts that had no reach as well.
But let's try it again properly 😉
Looking to #connect with indie hackers, founders, developers, who are:
- building their own SaaS, products, and doing all kinds of projects
- working with AI
- automating stuff and working with data
Happy to keep growing together 🤝
Hope it works this time 😅
P.S. very grateful for these two reactions and all the connections made earlier 😊
@vlinx_soft Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate that 😊 Happy to stay connected
And VelaTerm looks pretty cool as well! Not only from Tekyous perspective, but I'm also exploring ADEs to find the best one for myself. So should give it a shot 😉
So is every software that wraps something a scam?
Well, not at all.
Of course, if you're at least slightly technical, then hacking something together with Claude Code might be not only cheaper than using a no-code tool or AI Builder like Lovable, but also less frustrating than fighting with limitations of these tools.
But on the other hand, they just bundle everything as an all-in-one platforms. You don't have to worry about hosting, infrastracture, deployments and so on.
So while all these technical nitty gritties will be obvious for some, for others they are not. And actually using these 'scam' tools might be an easy, approachable entry way to start building software.
And while AI is actually turning everything upside down right now, and especially no-code might be more in disfavour, calling any of these 'scam' tools is a huge stretch.
Lovable is a scam.
So is Replit, Base44, Framer, and all AI website builders.
These are for low IQ people who don’t know how to use AI and fall for SaaS marketing gimmicks.
You are paying a premium for less usage, shittier models, shittier websites, and hand cuffing yourself to a SaaS ecosystem you don’t control.
A $100/month Claude Max plan (or ChatGPT Pro) is a better solution BY FAR
@hustle_fred Exactly, just a wrapper economy, you pay for some extra convenience
And just because for technical people there's not much gain in paying for no-code tool or AI builder instead of just using Claude Code, it does not mean it's the case for everyone
