Students in other states are not brighter or more studious than students in Oregon, and Oregon has some of the most talented teachers our nation has to offer.

These test scores are a direct reflection of the heavy-hand of the unelected bureaucrats at the Oregon Department of Education — and failed state leaders — that for too long have prioritized political agendas that are plaguing our classrooms over academic excellence.
