👋 well, I was laid off yesterday along with 16 other great folks. If you're hiring feel free to reach out.
Personally, if anyone's looking for short-term Elm consulting, lmk.
And I'm gonna try starting up streams again on Sat ❤️—more Elm TDD, and learning about antiracism
Morning Twitter! Like @avh4 (+ 15 more friends!), I'm now looking for new work. I can help you with #haskell, #fsharp, #dotnet, #elm, your CI/CD stack + training in the above.
I'll be retweeting/sharing the others as they post, and can put you in touch.

@janiczek@elmlang I wonder if road three might be better:
Collapse the two modules into one.
Since they are depending on each other they seem to be tightly coupled and the ideal abstraction hasn't presented itself yet. Collapsing the two might reveal a different road that you haven't thought of.1/
HLint 3.0 now out: https://t.co/HbZYjhDbjo. Now uses only the GHC parser and the refactoring works much better.
It's been a while since I got nervous about making a release!
I added some glue so that "nix-test-runner" can finally be executed easily from a nix expression.
"nix-test-runner" uses the "lib.debug.runTests" test structure from nixpkgs.

I prefer types and property tests over unit/functional/integration tests because in my experience the former give a good balance between code coverage and programmer productivity
@_andys8 thanks for the recommendation! lazygit is actually exactly what I want! cool that I now can use the same tool from zsh and neovim (with some tmux tricks :-)).
Live at https://t.co/S1Ew6juuLy -- today, just hanging out and getting my stream overlays set up again (with Elm, of course ). Come ask questions about Elm, or to chat about anything else. Coding streams will start next week!
@_andys8 Some ideas/feature requests :-) :
* `/` for searching the list
* push and pull
* maybe `ps` for push
* `pS` for force-with-lease push
* `pl` to pull
Breaks are a key ingredient to avoiding burnout.
Taking a break is similar to drinking water to stay hydrated. If you wait until you are thirsty you are already dehydrated.
Best time to take a break is when you don't feel you need one!
1/ About the "dissent is banned" meme about Elm, there has been a grand total of SIX people banned, mostly in 2018.
One or two of them happen to be extremely online and post about it in every thread about Elm as if they were just being precious angels and there's no other side.
Being the creator/maintainer of a language is not a position I envy. Not to mention maintaining a healthy community around it as well. If you have heard "bad things" about @elmlang please read this well thought through thread from @czaplic
