On this day in 1995, the Grateful Dead played their final show ever. It was the second of two consecutive nights at Soldier Field in Chicago, with The Band opening each show. After closing with a rare double encore of ”Black Muddy River” and “Box of Rain,” the final notes rang out with a fireworks display set to Jimi Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner,” lighting up the Chicago skyline. No one in the crowd realizing they'd just witnessed the band's last concert, but as we all know, the music never stops 🌹

People forget that Gov DeSantis beat this guy in 2018 by less than 0.5%.

He would’ve been our Governor during Covid, kept us locked down, and the country would’ve never been the same.

The reason he almost won was b/c deep blue Broward County kept “finding” votes weeks after the election.

The vote fraud was stopped, DeSantis cleaned up our elections, and he won by almost 20% in 2022.

A U.S. Plan to Save Lebanon

Dear @POTUS,

It is essential to establish several counterterrorism brigades within the Lebanese Army as soon as possible under the oversight of U.S. Special Forces. These units should be trained in secure areas between the Metn and Bsharri districts in northern Mount Lebanon, as well as along the coast between the Keserwan and Batroun districts—areas beyond Hezbollah's control.

As announced by Secretary @marcorubio, these brigades should be fully equipped by the Pentagon and operate under a joint Lebanese-U.S. command in coordination with @CENTCOM. With full U.S. air support, they could gradually deploy southward and eastward to help the Lebanese state reassert its sovereignty over areas controlled by hostile armed militias.

Israeli forces would gradually transfer responsibility for their positions to these brigades under U.S. supervision. The United States would also help ensure the security of Lebanon's Ministry of Defense against attacks or infiltration by jihadist groups and Hezbollah.

Dear President @realDonaldTrump, this approach could help stabilize Lebanon, strengthen its sovereignty, and support its reintegration into the community of free nations, while creating conditions that would enable it to join the #AbrahamAccords.

This is a feasible, necessary, and decisive plan.

Ackman has reason to be confident. He and his wife, Neri Oxman, bought roughly 5 percent of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in January 2024 at NIS 20.60 a share—a $25 million bet that was up about 300 percent by September 2025 and has since climbed past 500 percent, briefly worth more than eight times their entry price at the stock’s May 2026 peak. He isn’t done, either: in an interview with Globes last year, he claimed he wants to invest another $1 billion in Israeli companies.

His case for the purchase is simple:

“Owning a piece of the exchange is like owning a royalty on the success of capitalism in the country. That’s why I’m bullish—and I think it’s cheap.”

Cheap is a bold word for a stock that has risen more than sixfold. But that’s the whole wager: that a country the size of New Jersey is still in the early innings of building trillion-dollar companies, and now is still the time to get in on the ground floor.
