The policy choices ahead of us carry real-world consequences for our country’s future. Democrats needs to be informed, including by those who understand emerging technologies best. We don’t have to agree on every conclusion to acknowledge that good policy comes from real dialogue
NEW:
We Democrats used to be the party of innovation.
But we took a misguided turn against tech in the Biden era.
Our new report by @DaveV15 on Democrats' Techlash Trap explains why and how this happened - so that Dems can correct this lose-lose policy & political mistake.
I’m proud of the South Carolina senators who respected the people’s voices and believe that equal dignity and equal representation are not partisan issues.
I am voting for McDuffie because I think blue cities need to be governed well, JLG's policies will more likely than McDuffie's raise crime, and Trump would weaponize that against Dems everywhere. My fellow DCers, don't sleepwalk into this
Based on my experience helping Biden craft his policy budget during his winning 2020 campaign, plus the recent Booker/Van Hollen situation, some advice for aspiring 2028 Democratic presidential contenders regarding policy budgets:

New: Stop making our candidates answer question about trans surgery for prisoners!

@mcbyrne@StefFeldman Melissa, When you say ‘base’ can you describe characteristics so we can all be on the same page as to what cohort of voters you are referring to?
I grew up in Ohio where, for generations, my family worked for GM, Ford, NCR, Fujitec, and Frigidaire.
We forgot that our ability to build is our greatest deterrent.
It's time to bring manufacturing back to the Heartland. 🇺🇸

This will be common sense to most democrats outside of the elite circles but still a great reminder of the path available to win elections and govern effectively, should we choose.
It's time to renew the Democratic Party.
Introducing DECIDING TO WIN: the most comprehensive account yet of where Democrats went wrong, and what we need to do to win again.
