@MyNameIsMurray Need to go back and have a look at our solution but I think we used PowerShell to register email addresses/phone numbers from our student data system as authentication methods in Entra ID. Could possibly write something to pick up those emails from your existing fields?

@MyNameIsMurray I think the 'mildly interesting' bit is the answer. Users were interacting with Copilot and thinking "I'd never pay for this" - by removing it MS can preserve a bit of mystique that maybe it is worth paying for.

@NathanMcNulty The tip on disabling 'Use for sign-in' on the SMS method is gold. Unknowingly left it on for a tenant and ended up with a bunch of users with linked phone numbers that couldn't be removed by admins as the number became a key authentication component. Nightmare to fix.

@NathanMcNulty Is it too much to ask for MS to put this in their documentation? Such a time saver compared to remoting into the server. Could probably be displayed in Entra ID somewhere helpful too...
