We are saved from fragmentation and unto wholeness. We have wholeness in Christ because he is whole, and we are being made whole in him as well.

I've been listening to some dispensational podcasts as of late, and I keep bumping up against a problem. 🚦
According to a lot of dispensationalists, an interpreter holds to dispensationalism or "replacement theology."
I'm a covenant theologian but I don't hold to replacement theology. The church doesn't replace Israel.
The church is the CONTINUATION of true Israel in Christ. NT believers are joined to OT believers as the covenant community. That's not replacement.

Aaron’s story begs for a sequel, for a greater high priest who will live up to His calling and truly atone for sin and intercede for the people. In this way, Aaron is the shadow of Jesus Christ, our better High Priest. —@Scott_Redd

As the high priest of Israel, Moses’ brother Aaron played a critical role in the corporate life of God’s people.

This is the community of scholars working on a major commentary series for @crossway, The Reformed Exegetical and Theological Commentary series (RETC). I'm working on the Book of Daniel, hopefully out by 2029. I'm so grateful to be part of this group.
Thankful to be a part of this team @crossway, and more than a little humbled that my commentary on First and Second Peter is scheduled to be one of the first out! Glad for the opportunity and praying it will be useful.
The biblical prophets call us to hear the word of judgment, the whisper of grace, the thunder of justice, and the song of redemption. —@Scott_Redd https://t.co/N2M3jAQE16
The Old Testament gives us a tapestry of prophetic functions that is multilayered, and the New Testament reveals how this office is fulfilled in the person and work of Christ. —@Scott_Redd https://t.co/N2M3jAQE16
