@WhiteyRoundeye @shawngorham Toyota and Lexus have recalled hundreds of thousands of 22-24 V-6 engines for possible metal shavings (FOD) . I don’t want a 4 cylinder but in this situation LC owners were better off.

Circle back, 3 months later. Even with the big hit on Friday 6/4 … and the War w Iran … S&P500 is up 10% and the NASDAQ is up 15% since this March post. We’re going to revert to the mean over time but for now USA markets still way above average!

Meltdown? Huh? Russel 2000 is up 22% during last 12 months and flat YTD. S&P 500 is up 17% last 12 months and down 2% YTD. NASDAQ is up 23% and down 4% on same periods. We’re going to revert to the mean over time, but for now USA markets still way above average. Agree?

@Alice_MiaX You can spend your Roth/401K if you really need it. Assuming you don’t qualify for early withdrawal exemptions (there are several) then you pay up to tax + 10% penalty …. But it’s not like it’s locked up in concrete. Move along folks … there’s nothing here to see.

@enjoyer_liberty It’s a pretty good list but I thought Eyes Wide Shut was terrible; and Forest Gump probably better than Scent. I’d put Pulp over Training Day (same genre). I’ve never seen Heat? Is it really better than anything Spielberg did (Schindler’s List) or Casablanca?

@The_Money_Buddy She’ll get 5 doubles. Once is $50K, then $100K, then $200K, then $400K, the. $800K. And her savings rate will match that, so $1.6M - not enough. But she partners w a great spouse who does the same and now it’s $3.2M. Not complicated but not easy. Just keep stacking.

@JamesMac_Fit What was your average heart rate in your 24 minute 5K? You look pretty fit. If it was under 150 you’ve got some runway and will get there pretty fast …. Maybe 10 weeks. Over 160? Then you’ve got some work to do. Could be wrong. Good luck!

@hjluks On the way up Coachwhip Trail on my MTB this morning, I road past a 30-ish-y/o, about half my age. Head says it’s great we’re both out here, staying “wide” but heart was proud to pedal on past him. One day he’ll beat me up that hill but not today.
