@DerekAlldritt I don’t really follow the rage. This will be to people whatever they want it to be. End mandates, freedom of choice, dumb truckers, anti-vax etc. Disagree without attempting to shame and cancel. Find the light, avoid the darkness.
@DerekAlldritt What I have read is that they want them registered for two reasons - to meet the go fund me requirements to support a process that leads to funds disbursement and they want them to sign a code of conduct.
@robfoot While I do not know this man nor have an option of who he is - the “In my name” suggests one is looking for the tax benefit of others contributing on his behalf. Maybe not but pretty specific wording to include that benefits one’s pocket book.
@LitigationGuy@leilamechoui My small sample set of teacher friends are not happy. Maybe their unions (I can’t say) but they are sad not to be back and school knowing what this does to kids.
@EdTubb Do you adjust the unvax pop’n for<12’s who weren’t eligible until recently and are proportionality being tested at higher rate than other age groups (have the 2nd lowest % positivity rate). Adjusting for this I think a +ve case is as likely to be vax vs unvax. Interesting shift
@ScottPiatkowski@_llebrun Ps - might have been a dangerous strategy that the vulnerable population should NOT employ. However, he has superior immunity…..
@ScottPiatkowski@_llebrun Irrespective of who it was - why do you think Canada is so resistant to aggressively push therapeutics and vitamins. d and zinc are pennies. Monoclonal antibodies are expensive but they are very effective. Do we use these in first five days of symptoms? If no, why?
@ScienceUpFirst Risk/reward study that is age and gender stratified. If injection has greater reward than risk then long term studies at least as long as those for other vaccines when mandated.
@picardonhealth@ScottPiatkowski @KathyReid5 These messages are written with the intent of comforting parents that absent comorbidities children are at a statistically immeasurable risk of Covid. However, in doing so they have a flavour of down playing a child’s death which of course is a tragedy. Thoughts to the parents
@aetherial3 @EdTubb I would not describe that tactic or language as coddling. When is the last time anyone changed their mind on an issue bc they were called an idiot. However, each of us see things through different lenses I suppose. Listening and educating is likely a much better tactic.
@EdTubb “…. and the anti-social minority of people refusing to get vaccinated for largely stupid, selfish reasons is the main — maybe only…”. Nice selection of words. That will surely convince them.
