I was working on an unrelated story last week when I came across the Children of Glasgow fountain, dumped under clod and scrap in a Glasgow City Council yard.

The fountain, designed by artist Michael Snowden and was a centrepiece of the #GlasgowGardenFestival of 1988, later became a fixture at Kelvingrove Museum.

Despite Glasgow City Council's admission that they have no plans for the piece, MSP @PaulJSweeney is hopeful that the fountain can be reinstated 'sooner rather than later' and has approached original sponsors Royal Bank of Scotland @RBS_Help on help with costs. Lex Lamb of @AtGF1988 also hopes to see the intact structure given a new life.

Very mixed feelings about Bat Boy tonight. It’s one of my favourite shows of all time so it was great to see it on stage again, but the sound at the palladium was absolutely fucking awful. The sound person bringing in the mics far too late, the vocals getting drowned out. 1/3

As Halloween’s go Bat Boy @LWTheatres @londonpalladium tonight was certainly horrific. Worst sound design ever. With one-off night’s a few glitches can be expected but not an entire act completely imbalanced, talented actors being left inaudible. Left at interval. Insulting 🚫⭐️
