REMINDER: It is possible to call out misinfo about effects of #Ukraine strikes on #Russia data centers
Without undermine actual info about extent of #Trump coop with Russia actors from 2016 to 2026
Stay smart. Stay woke.
#TrumpRussia
Nothing is easier than feeding people fake stories about Russia and then having them spread it mindlessly and uncritically.
Even after we watched the US media and Democratic Party do exactly this for 3 years, only for it to be exposed as a hoax, it just continues unimpeded:
BREAKING: Pro- #Kremlin disinformation activist tries to deny Kremlin disinformation campaign and operations, developed since 2014 following Maidan Revolution in #Ukraine

Years of propaganda from NATO leaders and pundits -- call them Russiagate bots -- imbue "Russian bots" with the omnipresent, mystical power to decide elections and "sow discord" across Western democracies.
It's a disinformation campaign to manufacture consent for permanent conflict with Russia. By claiming to have cured the internet by bombing Russian data centers, Zelensky is taking this psy-op to a farcical extreme:
@UCDLnH Excellent news. I will write @UCDLnH now to ensure that they filmed debate and that they will post it.
Really looking forward to this --- great to get truth out v. misinfo/disinfo protecting regimes who kill citizens

@ScottLucas_EA@UCDLnH Actually Scott, it was filmed, at my request, precisely to avoid the misrepresentations of serial fabulists like yourself. Now, will you answer my question and join me in calling for the video's release?
I am old enough to remember when John Mearsheimer was a respected political scientist.
Now he goes on VideoCasts to echo the lines of a guy who --- having posted, "I claim no expertise on #Russia and #Ukraine" --- pushes pro- #Kremlin disinformation and falsehoods.
RIP John.
President Donald Trump has turned up the pressure on Ukraine, calling for Volodymyr Zelensky to be replaced as president and urging Kyiv to halt its attacks on Russian oil refineries.
The timing is striking. The Trump administration has also reached an agreement allowing Russia to supply hundreds of thousands of tonnes of diesel fuel to the United States.
Does all this represent a significant shift in policy towards Moscow, potentially easing pressure on Russia over its war in Ukraine as the White House seeks to contain fuel prices ahead of next month’s US midterm elections?

‘They’re in a war for survival. They’re trying to defend their country.’
@Lewis_Goodall asks Republican Greg Swenson to justify Donald Trump’s calls for the Ukrainian leader to be ousted.
P.S.: @AaronJMate's references to #Russia, #Brexit and Twitter/Facebook are more nonsense --- there is not a single reference in UK Parliamentary report to Twitter or Facebook.
(Don't be Aaron. Be smart.)

Summary: This pro-#Kremlin post is nonsense.
There was no specific UK Parliamentary inquiry into #Russia and #Brexit - it was on Russia and UK Intell Community.
But in brief section on Brexit, it found "Russian threat to UK democratic processes and political discourse"
(1/x)
A UK Parliamentary inquiry did a sweeping review of Russia's supposed hand in Brexit and came up with nothing. Unless you want to count RT spending over $1,000 on Twitter ads to promote its Brexit coverage to UK-based viewers. Or Facebook reporting a Russian troll farm spending a grand total of 97 cents spent on three ads, all about immigration and not even mentioning Brexit.
Since 2016, the NATO elite has waged a concerted disinformation campaign to blame Russia for populist rebukes. This comment follows in that tired tradition:
At time of UK Parliament report in 2020, UK intell still had not conducted or were withholding post-#Brexit assessment of #Russia interference in referendum, possibility because of political sensitivity

Serious questions, @_GregSwenson.
Instead of using figures fm immediate post-COVID period:
What was inflation in Jan 2025 v. now?
What was average unleaded price in Jan 2025 v. now?
If you don't know answer, I'll give it in next tweet

Come for Trump mouthpiece @ErolMorkoc supporting spectacle of public execution over man who killed members of US military
Stay for him celebrating #Trump-#Hegseth destruction of US military
Irony applauds you, sir.
'This individual killed 13 people - and an unborn child - in a cowardly sneak attack.'
@erolmorkoc explains the Pentagon's decision to broadcast the execution of mass shooter Nidal Hasan by firing squad.

Invoke Boris Johnson and the 2022 talks in Istanbul....
....To show us that you don't know much about the 2022 talks in Istanbul and #Russia invasion of #Ukraine#UkraineWar
Had it not been for Boris Johnson and Victoria Nuland -- who personally forced Zelensky to reject the deal Ukraine and Russia were about to sign in Istanbul in 2022 -- this horrific war that has killed more than a million and consumed much of Ukraine would have been long over.
And Aaron "I claim no expertise on #Ukraine" shouts "#NATO proxy war" to excuse #Russia invasion, mass killing, and war crimes
By pulling a #Zelensky quote of context

In this dangerous moment for Ukraine, it’s worth remembering what Vladimir Putin said years ago about NATO’s role in the proxy war:
“There are those in the West who don't mind a long war because it would mean exhausting Russia, even if this means the demise of Ukraine and comes at the cost of Ukrainian lives.”
My bad, it was actually a different president who said that — Volodymyr Zelensky, March 2022:
Aaron still doesn't realize #Putin launched full-scale invasion to conquer #Ukraine on Feb 24, 2022
Aaron still doesn't realize #Russia has scuttled all attempts at ceasefire -- including spring '22 -- since that date
So Aaron excuses #Kremlin attempt to break Ukraine civilians
This is shaping up to be an awful winter for Ukraine. I wish proxy warriors across the aisle had listened to the tiny sliver of voices who encouraged diplomacy with Moscow rather than a war Kyiv could never win.
