@johnarnold They annualize every growth spike to calculate a new higher ARR, even though the customer ROI is still unproven, especially as token consumption scales and IT budgets get swamped. Mooreโs Law?
@johnarnold Think the skyrocketing revenue story needs a deeper look. Itโs a vanity metric that has helped them shake the money tree for sure. They report gross revenue including the hyperscaler hosting cost, which is obviously not revenue to them.
@ianmiles ARR is a vanity metric. Until the revenues exceed the compute cost by an accelerating margin, it is premature for any company to declare victory.
@SBF_FTX I thought you resigned as CEO five days ago. So how do you know where things stand today? Is there anything that you say that is remotely related to fact?
@nsbarsky Itโs unpleasant and unfortunate that voters have to affiliate with one of two entrenched political monopolies in order to have any vote at all. Both parties are increasingly controlled by their fringe, leading voters to vote โagainstโ more than they vote โfor.โ
@bgurley Itโs a fallacy to believe that any IPO could achieve initial pricing at its highest trading price achieved in the aftermarket. IPO buyers are fickle and they typically buy more the hotter the deal is, and vice versa.
@Uber After scheduling an airport ride, I waited for my car to arrive. The app said the car was in transit. But it never came. And then the ride just disappeared from my screen. Like I never ordered it. Deceptive and dishonest and unreliable. This business is done forever with me.
