Mass shooter taken down in just 10 seconds after he opened fire into a crowd in Tucson, Arizona.

David French, who was on probation for a 2024 shooting, is accused of opening fire into a crowd of people, injuring nine.

When he tried running away, a Tucson police officer opened fire and shot French, injuring him.

You know what I used to say all the time when I was Muslim? “Allahu Akbar” — God is greater, was my anthem.

And He is. Greater than all. I still believe God is greater than everything.

But here’s what I missed man.

A God who is only “greater” stays above you. Untouchable. On a throne, far up, watching.

The Gospel showed me a God great enough to become small.

“Though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor.” 2 Corinthians 8:9.

Any god can be big. It takes the greatest God of all to become a baby in a feeding trough for the people He loves.

God is greater.

Great enough to come down.

Great enough to bear all of humanity on His back, by His law.

Christ IS Lord.

Well, I have some news that's going to make some people uncomfortable...

My wife and I are pulling our youngest out of North Carolina public schools and my wife will be homeschooling him.

And no, we're not sorry about it.

We didn't come to this decision lightly. We prayed on it, argued about it, ran the numbers, lost sleep over it.

But every road led back to the same common theme: nobody on God's green earth loves that boy more than his mother and I do, and nobody is more responsible for who he becomes than us.

Yet, rather ironically, despite believing this somewhere along the way, we handed that responsibility to strangers and... trusted them with it.

His mind. His values. His time. His education. His TRUTH.

...and this past year, for the first time, we stopped and asked whether they'd earned that trust.

We don't think they did.

So we're taking it back.

Yeah, we're scared. Scared we'll get something wrong. Scared of the workload. Nervous about what people will say.

But I'll take the fear of us doing it ourselves over the quiet horror of watching our son be indoctrinated in utter BS woke nonsense and be laughed at for believing in God and mocked for liking President Trump (all of which occurred this year.

So yeah, he's going to read the hard books. The ones they'd rather he didn't.

He's going to learn history that hasn't been run through an anti-White woke filter.

He's going to know exactly where he comes from and what he believes.

Most importantly, he's going to grow up watching his mother choose him, to spend every day, all day with him, over what was easy.

They had their shot. They blew it.

We've got him from here. 🇺🇸

You know what Muslims, Mormons, and Jews say to me constantly?

“You don't follow Jesus. You follow Paul.”
Bro... you don't understand how Christianity works.

You do NOT need Paul to believe Jesus is the Messiah.

If Paul disappeared tomorrow, Christianity would still stand.
Why?

Because the Torah and the prophets already did the heavy lifting.

Genesis: sin enters the world.
Exodus and Leviticus: blood, atonement, and substitution.

Passover: the spotless lamb.
Isaiah: the suffering servant.
Daniel: the Messiah.

That's not Paul.

That's Moses, David, Isaiah, Daniel, and the entire prophetic story.
Paul didn't invent Jesus.
Paul looked at the Scriptures and realized:

This was ALWAYS about Him.
And Paul wasn't some random guy making up theology.
He was a Pharisee trained in the law.
So when he preached, what did he quote?

The Old Testament.
Over.
And over.
And over.

His argument was simple:
If the Scriptures are true, Jesus Christ is unavoidable.

So saying Christians follow Paul instead of Jesus is like saying you follow the referee instead of the rulebook.

Paul isn't the point.
He's pointing you to the point.

Don't like Paul?
Fine.

Read Isaiah 53 without him.
Read Psalm 22 without him.
Read Daniel 9 without him.

You'll still end up staring directly at Jesus.
Christianity isn't built on Paul.

It's built on the Messiah the Scriptures were already pointing to.

And once I finally read Paul charitably...
Bro.

The man was an absolute SAVAGE for the faith.

When I was Muslim, I read Surah 11:40 not realizing I was watching a headcount change before my eyes.

Noah’s ark. The Quran says his family boarded “and those who believe,” and Ibn Kathir’s tafsir counts EIGHTY people on that boat.

Then I opened Genesis 7:7. Noah, his wife, three sons, three daughters-in-law. Eight souls.

Peter confirms it: “eight persons were brought safely through water.” 1 Peter 3:20.

Eight vs eighty. Somebody’s wrong by a factor of ten, and one of these books was written 2,000 years closer to the flood.

Here’s what wrecked me most. The Bible’s eight isn’t a random number. One family, saved through judgment by one ark, one door.

Then… Jesus said “I am the door.” John 10:9.

The ark was never about capacity. It was about the ONE place judgment couldn’t reach you.

There’s still one door, bro. Get in. Christ is KING.

Tonight we pray for all who have been abandoned by family members, shut out and cut off for holding true to Your will and Your way.
Fill them, Lord, with Your Holy Spirit, heal the wounds in their souls, and hearts.
Remind us of Your promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Even when children turn away, You, Father, are always near to us.
We lift up every parent walking this road.
Restore what has been broken, if it be Your will. Protect our children from the demonic deceptions of the left, and draw them back to Your heart.
And for those waiting anxiously, grant them peace.
We know, Father, that in losing our lives for Your sake, we find them.
As we wait, hold us close, sustain our faith, and bless these mothers, fathers, all who suffer for Your sake.

The deepest word I learned in Islam was tawhid. God, utterly one, utterly beyond. A thousand miles above your head. You keep your distance and you obey.

Nobody ever told me about the tent.

Exodus 25-40. God gives Moses blueprints, obsessive detail, for a tent, and then does the unthinkable: He moves INTO THE CAMP. Glory in the middle of the tents of ex-slaves.

And every detail of that tent was a portrait:

ONE door in. "I am the door." John 10:9.

First thing inside: an altar where a substitute dies. Hebrews 9:22.

Then water for washing. John 3:5.

Inside: the lampstand. "I am the light of the world." John 8:12.

The bread of the Presence. "I am the bread of life." John 6:35. And behind the veil, God Himself.

Fifteen hundred years later, John writes: "The Word became flesh and DWELT among us." John 1:14. The Greek literally says He TABERNACLED among us.

The God I was told stays a thousand miles up pitched His tent in our dust.

The tent was a portrait stitched in fabric and gold, waiting for a face.

The face was Jesus. And the veil? Torn, top to bottom. Matthew 27:51.

The distance I was raised to accept is gone.

I always knew Joseph’s brothers threw him in a well. What I never noticed was HOW he gets out of it.

In the Quran, a caravan comes by, a man lowers his bucket for water, and he accidentally finds Joseph down there. They take him and sell him as goods. Surah 12:19.

So in the Quran, Joseph is basically FOUND. Discovered by strangers.

Then I read Genesis, and the brothers are far guiltier.

Reuben throws him in an empty pit, planning to rescue him later. But while Reuben’s away, Judah looks at a passing caravan of Ishmaelite traders and says: why kill him? Let’s SELL him. And they do. For twenty pieces of silver. Genesis 37:26-28.

The brothers don’t lose Joseph to a passing stranger. They traffic him. They pocket the silver. It’s cold, deliberate, and damning.
Here’s what I kept circling back to.

The Bible makes the brothers MORE guilty, not less. It names Reuben. Names Judah. Names the price. Names the buyers. It refuses to soften what they did.

That’s not a book protecting its heroes.

That’s a book telling the brutal truth.

And here’s the detail that wrecked me.

Twenty pieces of silver. A brother, sold for silver, by Judah.

Fast forward 1,700 years. Another descendant of Judah is betrayed and sold. For thirty pieces of silver. By a man named Judas, which is just the Greek form of Judah. Matthew 26:15.

The “sold for silver” detail… It’s a thread.

And the Quran’s version, where Joseph is just accidentally found, snaps that thread.

I used to say the Bible was the corrupted book.

But the Bible kept the silver, kept the betrayal, kept the guilt, because it was all pointing forward.

Joseph sold for silver, betrayed by his brothers, descending into a pit, rising to save the very ones who betrayed him.

That was always a portrait of Jesus.

The Bible kept every ugly detail because every detail was a signpost.

And they all pointed to the cross and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
