@moshihunter @IntEngineering If 1 left-handed person leaves, that leaves 98 left-handed people but 99 people in total, 98/99 = 0.9898 (recurring) that's 98.98...% not 98%. If however 50 left-handed people leave, you're left with 49 left-handed people with 50 total. 49/50 = 0.98 = 98% so the answer is 50.
