Almost half of British people, and almost three quarters of Green voters, say that Israel treats the Palestinians like the Nazis treated the Jews.
Only a small minority of people hold antisemitic beliefs, the lowest rate being among people who are more likely to be anti-Zionist.
This is racism, pure and simple. Itās also a test. The UK press needs to describe it for exactly what it is: that Reformās candidate made a racist and inflammatory losing statement
Israel's top human rights group finds evidence of widespread sexual abuse of Palestinian prisoners. By the world's "most moral army." https://t.co/dx8VFjAOas

Following Israelās NGO registration deadline, many humanitarian partners are not allowed to operate in Gaza anymore.
Life-saving aid to civilians in Gaza is being choked off. This must stop.
The NGO registration law, as it stands, cannot be applied.

As of 31 December 2025, MSF is still awaiting renewal of its registration to operate in Gaza and the West Bank under new Israeli requirements, including staff lists.
The Palestinian health system is decimated, essential infrastructure is destroyed, and people struggle to meet basic needs. People need more services, not less. If MSF and other INGOs lose access, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians would be cut off from essential care.
We currently support one in five hospital beds and the delivery of one in three births in Gaza. In 2025 alone, we provided nearly 800,000 outpatient consultations, treated over 100,000 trauma cases, performed 22,700 surgeries, assisted more than 10,000 births, and distributed nearly 700 million litres of water.
Less than 24 hours after the meeting between Trump and Netanyahu, Israel suspends most international humanitarian organisations working in Gaza. Independent Humanitarian Aid is ending. Israelās genocide continues. https://t.co/WL7Ihr0Bz0
On 5th July this year, Palestine Action was proscribed after a vote in Parliament invoking the Terrorism Act 2000.
Since then, police have made over 2,700 arrests for peacefully protesting. These arrests are unlawful.
Amnesty UK has intervened in the Judicial Review in the courts and over 130,000 Amnesty supporters have called on the UK government to stop the prosecution of peaceful protestors.
Shocking that @Keir_Starmer will not order even a compassionate release for the hunger strikers who did what they did to end a GENOCIDE by Israel of the Palestinians in Gaza.
UK: Palestine Action hunger strikers' dire situation 'a shameful moment for the UK government.
It's shocking that these activists have been forced to resort to such desperate measures to bring attention to their plight and the cruel misuse of terrorism law https://t.co/Xgux5mLS4O
š¬š§ Perhaps the UK gov has not enough on its conscience that can let Anti-Genocide activists die??
I trust the UK people will appreciate that this is not about Palestine anymore: it is about their own freedoms.
Full solidarity to PalestineAction hunger strikers and their families.
Krishnan Guru-Murthy: "Phase 1 of the ceasefire is Gaza is holding, but its precarious"
@FranceskAlbs: "The ceasefire is not precarious, its not existent. Since the day the ceasefire was proclaimed nearly 400 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army in Gaza"
Mary's dismissal at Harvard should be a major scandal across US public health and medicine. This is obvious suppression of principled free speech, a betrayal of the universalism that's supposed to underwrite public health, and a clear sign of capitulation to fascist pressure.
On the 10th anniversary of #GenocidePreventionDay, the world needs to do more to prevent and end this horrific crime.
Letās support the courts and human rights mechanisms that are holding perpetrators accountable.
Europe today.
Citizens opposing genocide attacked by police.
Journalists & activists exposing genocide criminalised.
Conferences investigating genocide cancelled.
Dissent labelled āantisemitismā by law.
Europeans' taxes used to repress freedoms & shield those committing genocide.
I condemn Israelās flagrant breach of the inviolability of UNRWA premises and interference in its humanitarian work, which is mandated by the member States of the United Nations
In reality some of Polanskiās preferred policies, like a wealth tax, have the support of economists like Thomas Piketty, Gabriel Zucman, Joe Stiglitz (Nobel winner), Mariana Mazzucato & Branko Milanovic.
Beyond silly to say these are marginal figures.
āļø BREAKING: UN Committee Against Torture: Israel now has a āde facto State policy of organized and widespread torture and ill-treatmentā that has āgravely intensifiedā since October 7.
The UN Committee is made up of ten independent UN experts and periodically monitors statesā compliance with the Convention against Torture, issuing binding assessments of state conduct. Their latest findings of Israelās conduct include repeated severe beatings, dog attacks, electrocution, waterboarding, prolonged stress positions, sexual violence, humiliation such as being forced to act like animals or being urinated on, denial of medical care, excessive restraints causing amputations, surgery without anaesthetic, exposure to extreme heat or cold, deprivation of food, water, hygiene, clothing, sleep, and the use of hallucinogens on detainees.
The Committee found at least 75 Palestinians have died in custody since October 7 amid a deliberate state policy of collective punishment, with autopsies showing signs of torture, malnutrition and untreated medical conditions ā and no officials held accountable. Israel has also suspended ICRC access to detainees.
It warned that Israelās sweeping administrative detention regime has reached āunprecedentedā scale, with Palestinians held for months without charge, denied lawyers for up to 15 days, and presented to judges after 12 days. Settlers, however, were exempted from the same military order.
Under the Unlawful Combatants Law, Palestinians ā including older people, disabled people, pregnant women and children ā have been detained in groups without individualized assessment, held incommunicado, and placed outside legal protection in what the Committee says amounts to enforced disappearance.
The Committee further warned that Israelās cumulative policies ā the blockade on aid, destruction of civilian infrastructure, forced displacement, and a system of movement restrictions and segregation ā may amount to torture or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment of the Palestinian population as a whole.
