@Crytal1999 @MechDara1 How convenient is it that the one evidence you have is a Cambodian soldier, dressing in his official uniform, creeping into Thai territory, plant a mine, film the evidence, and accidentally leave the evidence for the Thai military to find? π€‘π€‘π€‘ Christopher Nolan could never π₯΄
1). You had a hand in funding Khmer Rouge, which subsequently led to the genocide and collapse of the Cambodian society.
2). You were given financial packages by the western world to build refugee camps for those escaping Khmer Rouge. It wasnβt out of kindness or charity. Your government was paid.
3). At said refugee camp, Cambodian women and girls were raped at the dead of night by Thai soldiers. Many of them still bear the trauma to this day.
4). After Cambodia was liberated, Thai army forced all the refugees to leave via a mine ridden field and down Dangrek mountain. When people started blowing up right in front of them, the remaining Cambodian refugees refused to move. And what did the Thai soldiers do? They began shoving and shooting at the remaining survivors, forcing them to cross the mine fields. This event was dubbed the βSecond Killing Fieldβ and you can learn more about your own military cruel history by watching the documentary Ghost Mountain. The one lying to their own people and rewriting history is not us.
5). The Khmer empire is one of the oldest in Southeast Asia. All your land was once our land. After the fall of the Khmer empire, you took what you can, avoided war and colonization and thatβs how you become the superpower you are today. And what do you do? You want more. Our remaining lands, temples and history. You people are not only deeply brainwashed but deeply cruel.
Cambodiaβs enemy is Thailand and Thailandβs enemy is themselves.
@AJEnglish These images show students from Chhouk Junior High School, located in Thnal Bot village, Kok Mon commune, Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey province, near Ta Moan temple, eating rice in a trench after Thai soldiers launched an attack on Cambodia on the morning of Dec.08.2025
@WunpornT@AJEnglish When Thailand say Cambodia attack them first, they never have proof. But when they say they are just defending themselves from Cambodia, they coordinate an attack on 8 different front, all highly populated border towns or provinces. And Cambodia ALWAYS have proof to back it up.
Thailand caught in their propaganda lies again. No doubt the trolls will protest in the comments, but theyβre all under the spell. They canβt see this is being designed to make Anuthin popular again.
Thailand broke the ceasefire agreement ONCE AGAIN, calling it retaliation. Retaliating the landmines that they themselves planted and stepped on in order to have an excuse to attack. Cambodia was the one who ask for 3rd party intervention and peace deals, Thailand has only claimed to have good will yet at every turn, they find every opportunity in the book to go back on their words, using buzzwords like βdefending themselvesβ #truthfromCambodia
Yeah because ill equipped Cambodian soldiers can so easily sneak into Thailand under the heavy surveillance of the tanky Thai military, in their original soldier uniform, TAKE VIDEO evidence and βaccidentallyβ leave the phone behind for the military to find π€‘π€‘π€‘ The reason why no one report on it is because itβs too laughable
Only people like you believe that ill equipped Cambodian soldiers would, first, sneak into Thailand right below the noses of their heavily armed military, in their Khmer solider uniform with the flag and everything, plant mines, TAKE VIDEO evidence, then accidentally leave the evidence behind for the Thai military to discover π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘πππ
Sometimes the simplest explanation is often the correct one.
If Cambodia really wanted to attack, they would have done it back when Thailand was struggling with the floods, not after Thailand had already regained control.
If it doesnβt make sense nowβ¦ then you probably already know what the truth is.
Why does every βattackβ happen after Thailandβs senior leadership or military faces public criticism?
It never happens beforehand.
From the initial conflicts, the landmines, the bombings β almost every event can be linked to some internal issue in Thailand that had just been criticized days earlier.
Itβs practically predictable like the weather.
Thai people angry about the peace deal? The next day, thereβs a landmine explosion.
Thai people criticizing the government for mishandling the floods? Soon after, thereβs another clash with Cambodia.
RECAP 9:35h:
- Thai Air Force launch strikes on targets in Cambodia in retaliation after new clashes with troops at the border in Ubon Ratchathani on Monday morning
- 1 Thai soldier killed, 4 injured
- Civilians in area evacuated
- Cambodia accuse Thailand of attacking first

I hope Cambodiaβs penchant for kindness is not being taken advantage of and is just used to bolster their political career and reputation while not actually doing a whole lot. Granted that spreading awareness on the situation after weβve been sidelined in the media for so long is important, our desperate need for international validation is also a weakness that can be (and I argue, is currently being) exploited. Cambodia is not a political tool or buzz word to further Trumpβs campaign. Real people are being displaced and driven out of their homes and our captured soldiers have not been returned after 32 days. If you cannot offer βreal helpβ, please donβt mislead, give people false hope and use Cambodiaβs suffering as a political leg up and take the spotlight away from the people who can actually help.
Cambodians are being misled. The hype around Michael Alfaro, Gary Franchi, and Next News Network is not about peace. It is about boosting their online presence and glorifying Trump.
Alfaro once allowed people to think he was a White House correspondent. He never corrected that impression and now presents himself as a βTrump Advisor.β Franchi runs Next News Network, a channel with a long record of misinformation. Together they amplify each other and build a false sense of influence.
Their method is performance. They stage photos with officials, adopt inflated titles, and repeat slogans until it looks like consensus. This is content marketingβ¦not diplomacy!!
The Highway 4 story is the clearest example. The idea of renaming the road after Trump came from state-aligned reporter Soy Sopheap. A deputy prime minister admitted people were βtalking about itβ but no official order exists. Still, it went viral on FB, was pushed by Alfaro, picked up by The European, and then shared by Trump allies like Kimberly Guilfoyle. Until the government issues a formal decree, βTrump Highwayβ is rumor, not policy. And it is just one example of a bigger pattern.
The bigger picture is that Cambodians are being misled by a cycle of hype. FB dominates news. Engagement looks like truth. Foreign praise feels like validation. In a time of conflict, simple hero stories spread faster than complex realities.
The European magazine piece shows how this cycle works. It is a small business publication with little weight, but it was treated as proof and then amplified abroad to fit a narrative of Trump as a peacemaker. What comes back into Cambodia looks like international validation, even though the source carries little credibility.
This is not about a single highway or a single rumor. It is about a wider pattern of staged performance presented as politics. The attention is real, but the power is not. Cambodia deserves decisions and news rooted in truth, not in hype designed for social media.
Locking up innocent Cambodians solves nothing. Free the soldiers being held by Thailand, and free Cambodia's own political prisoners.

In a different universe, people wouldn't have called her a nepo-baby. And may be she'd wouldn't have been Prime Minister right away under such circumstances.
But her entry into politics was burdened with the weight of her father's legacy, as he is still forcefully trying to define it as we speak. A year may be was too short to leave her own mark on it.
It's too early to say how history will remember Thailand's 2nd female Prime Minister. But it already has seen yet another Shinawatra being chased out of office by clashing forces steering the country, above the heads of the people that just want a government to fix the most pressing issues asap.
When people ask me about big plans and strategies in Thai politics, there usually is none. Thai politics isn't chess - it's chess boxing! And each round gets worse, the brains are getting mushier and the moves more incomprehensible.
The next few weeks and months ahead will be tumultuous, again. They will be opaque and illogical, again. They could get also ugly, again.
Haven't we been here before? Where's the exit sign?
Good night and good luck.
