The biggest benefit from W*de’s hire, the increase in funding will remain for Gainey. No reason to not be excited about a program substantially more committed to being competitive than we were just 2 years ago. Looking forward to seeing what he does in the portal very soon.

Bart Torvik has State’s Tourney Odds at a 7.3 seed with a 93.4% chance of a bid by projecting the rest of the seasons results. I’m not that high on us based on what I’ve seen, but the metrics do matter for perspective.
