书本大火之后，随之而来的还有无休止的恐吓、威胁与抹黑。
有人不断给她发送恶意信件，各种骚扰接踵而至，试图逼迫她闭嘴。

长期沉浸在地狱般的历史资料，再加上无休止的威胁骚扰，一点点压垮了张纯如的身心。
她患上严重的抑郁症，精神状态急剧恶化。

2004年，年仅36岁的张纯如，永远离开了这个世界。

她不是南京大屠杀的亲历者，却拼尽自己的一生，替三十万亡魂发声。
一支笔，一本书，让一段被忽视的苦难，被全世界知晓。

她说：“忘记大屠杀，就是第二次屠杀。”

历史不该被掩埋，苦难不该被淡化。
我们应当永远记住张纯如，记住她为还原真相付出的一切。以史为鉴，吾辈自强。
