German activist Karoline Preisler bravely stands firm against a dangerous pack of pro-Hamas supporters.
Saying “rape isn’t resistance” is enough to trigger the violent crowd. But she doesn’t back down!
We need more people like Karoline!
A beautiful #AshWednesday story from Msgr. James Shea:
"A couple of years ago, I was on a flight on Ash Wednesday, and the stewardess came back to me and knelt down in the aisle where I was sitting, and she began to cry.
She said, 'I wasn't able to go to mass today on Ash Wednesday because I'm working morning till night, Father. Would you happen to have any ashes?' I couldn't believe it.
I had a little vial of ashes in the overhead compartment up on top, and I'm not like Father Boy Scout, I'm not usually prepared in that way, but I had some ashes, and so I said yes, I do, and I took them down, and I imposed ashes upon her while she knelt there.
By the end of the flight, the two other stewardesses, one of the pilots, and more than half of the plane had followed her and had knelt down in the aisle to receive ashes. This is the hope with which we live, and it's latent in people, it only needs to be activated by our witness."
Iranian people are challenging the Islamic regime by singing, dancing, and removing their hijabs, all of which are forbidden and punishable by death under Sharia law.
They are literally risking their lives here!
This is Warrant Officer Ibrahim Kharuba, a Bedouin Muslim IDF soldier, who is nominated for the IDFs highest bravery honor. On October 7th, he was one of the few armed men protecting a group of female soldiers on Nahal Oz base. The terrorists recognized he was an Arab and told him to surrender, he responded: "never". Ibrahim fought till the last bullet.
Shortly before he was murdered, he told the women: "it was my greatest honor to protect you". They are alive because of his bravery.
This is what actual coexistence looks like, in case anyone was confused.
If you work for the Dept. of Education and are posting on Twitter about how angry you are about losing your job, please realize only 27% of school-aged children between 4th and 12th grade will be able to read it.
I'd like to think I am a reasonably effective communicator but one thing that is simply impossible to convey to younger people is how much better things were in the 1990s.
9/11 and the response to it changed the world for the worse in so many ways. You then had the great financial crisis from which many countries, including Britain, have still not recovered. And now there is a war on Europe's doorstep, terrorism is "part and parcel" of our lives and basic things like a house of your own are unaffordable for most people.
Of course, things are better in many ways too but I wouldn't trade that peace, high trust environment and financial comfort for all the smartphones in the world.
A lot of so called 'depression' and 'anxiety' is really just physical and spiritual unfitness.
Neglect your body and soul for too long and eventually your mind will follow.
Zelensky is being coached by the most stupid people alive, the US deep state and their globalist counterparts.
He will fail with the Susan Rices and the Victoria Nulands.
Elections have consequences. The warmongering grifters need to accept they have lost. The fleecing of the American people is over.
🙄The fringe idea that we all have a 'gender identity' that may or may not match our biological sex is the whole point of this discussion. Trans activists act as though the existence of 'gender identity' is a settled, self-evident point, when to the vast majority of the world it's unevidenced, quasi-religious, pseudoscientific nonsense, which has been imposed top down on our society with serious consequences for vulnerable women and troubled youth in particular.
Meaningful discussion about competing needs and rights cannot happen inside an elitist ideological bubble where everyone is forced to adopt gender ideology's approved jargon, accept its self-contradicting slogans as fact and pretend fact-light assertions and feeble sophistry are critical thinking.
You tell us to 'educate' ourselves, by which you mean, 'adopt our beliefs unquestioningly,' but at this point, most of us know your arguments off by heart. These include, but are not limited to: feelings trump facts and unless we agree we're 'erasing people from existence'; women and girls aren't definable entities, so why should they be entitled to their own sports and single-sex spaces; clownfish and people with DSDs mean sex is 'on a spectrum' and 'woman' is a set of stereotypes associated with the female sex class, so it doesn't matter if you've got a penis, if you identify with those stereotypes you're 'valid'.
The reason we haven't been won over by these talking points and remain so tragically 'uneducated' isn't that we've failed to grasp the sophistication of your world view. It's that we think you're talking unadulterated bullshit and making fools of yourselves.
Is it possible to believe all of the following?
- Russia was the aggressor.
- Zelensky heroically defended his country and unexpectedly held on to Kyiv and much else.
- But the war cannot be "won" by Ukraine so a negotiated peace is needed.
- Zelensky needs to accept that.
- European nations deserve blame for depending on American weapons and Russian gas.
- Trump and Vance behaved pettily, foolishly and rudely last week.
- It's not liberal to want war.
- It's not wrong to want to end war.
