@jgmosteller But in brief, this would be a discussion between and an equally credentialed debate-partner. I would moderate.
I'm interested in educated debates between people who study the issues at hand and land on different ends of the political spectrum.
@jgmosteller Hi Jeremy, I'm looking to host some discussions/debates about criminal justice and public safety on my Youtube channel. I would like to invite you to take part in one of these debates.
Please send me a message so I can share more details with you.
@JaRonSmith04 Hi Ja'Ron, I host political debates/discussions on my Youtube channel, and I was wondering if you'd have any interest in taking part.
Most probably it would be with someone to your left who has similar academic or professional credentials.
@LAPDRickStabile Hi Rick, I have a Youtube channel where I host debates/discussions occasionally. I was wondering if you'd consider taking part? The topic would be criminal justice reform but centered on policing and police reform.
If you have any interest please message me.
@CorbKnowsBall@FTBeard7 Honestly... Chandler's a fan favorite, and if he won because of blatant cheating, that would been majorly damaging to his image.
But since Poirier won, a lot of people will forget it happened.
@KB052276@JonMunitz@Rebel_Beat2@RepAOC@ReutersUS Of course I'd advocate looking into it either way if you want to take a hard stance on it.
For me, it seems so unlikely to be true that I'd probably ignore for now. It would become pretty clear pretty quickly if something like this was true because the right would never sht up.
@KB052276@JonMunitz@Rebel_Beat2@RepAOC@ReutersUS Reuters is definitely more credible than some completely random website. The claim itself if unbelievable on its face. A left-wing political warrior who was a bartender before being elected to Congress has $20-30M?
@MTrempley@ThatPoliGeek@ChadNotChud I think when American progressives defend ultra conservative cultures/traditions practices by people in other countries or minority ethnic groups within the US, its largely a reaction to how American conservatives view those groups
They're trying to counter racism nationalism etc
@MTrempley@ThatPoliGeek@ChadNotChud Progressives tend to criticize their own (race, religion, country, culture, etc.) defend the other.
Conservatives criticize the other and defend their own.
Obviously there's a happy medium and people should do both.
@crb0712@Canhoser1@DavidAFrench Skepticism of the FBI is definitely warranted. But at the same time, crimes have to be prosecuted, and politicians can't be immune to prosecution
There's definitely a fine line between upholding the law and targeting politicians for political reasons
Let's see how it plays out
@Bryce_Martel@DonnyThePants@AndrewYang So why would anyone join this party? Andrew Yang thinks he can bring the country together by sitting on the fence when it comes to anything controversial.
So far the party stands for nothing.
@Bryce_Martel@DonnyThePants@AndrewYang Why? I still haven't figured out what the forward party is. I went to their website and looked at their platform. There's almost nothing on it. Ranked choice voting, Non-partisan primaries, and independent redistricting commissions. Those are the only actual policies listed.
@TaterinNC @jburli66 @ChrisJay00R@yoyo12848727@StephenKing I don't think I've given you enough regarding how I see the Dems to make a statement like that. But we don't need to get into that.
