@LesBowen Maybe of some other era of Schwarber and Harper.
2026
K's:
Schwarber/Harper: 296
Bohm/Stott: 148
RISP:
Schwarber/Harper: .247/.287
Bohm/Stott: .339/.340
@LesBowen Whether we realize it or not, almost nobody is Bryson Stott at second base, or shortstop, or third base. And that statement applies to every team in Major league baseball.
@AllAshworth Bohm hits into a ton of double plays and could possibly be the slowest runner in MLB which clogs up the bases when he does get on. Stott is also a plus defender. Bohm is not. Neither has developed as much as I hoped
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at the Edinburgh Festivals for Radio Scotland Afternoons with Grant Stott ๐ถWe hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed being there!
@RuffinTumbler Stott at 3rd is giving Dave every reason to extend Arraez

At least one position change since the trade deadline has already paid enormous dividends.

@BrinaBombs Looks like I couldnโt have been more wrong about moving Bohm to 1B and Stott to 3B. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

Gabriel Moreno is currently on an 12 game hit streak. Do you think he extends that today? ๐ค

@KevinCooney I didnโt k ow Stott had such a rifle of an arm.
@AllAshworth This is objectively false. Over the last 5 years 3rd base ops is .19 points higher than 2nd base. Stott is matching his peers at 2nd while bohm is not as much at 3rd. Add on the bad fielding and running and thatโs why more Phillies fans pile on bohm
Bryson Stott & Alec Bohm in August:
.368/.472/.504
ย
A .976 OPS, their highest in any month as teammates. The X-factors, always.

@TJStats Is Stott still laughably hovering around a -6 DRS?

@AllAshworth Going around the MLB there have been more options at 3rd who have had more production than bohm. You look at the offensive production coming from 2nd base and youโre not getting as many better options than Stott. 3rd base is a premium offensive position while 2nd isnโt as much
@MBound6 Stott is absolutely a plus field. Way better than Bohm.
I'm not sure what that has to do with Bohm simply being a better offensive player?
