A World Cup is supposed to be showcase for the host nation and this is a showcase for ‘America’. They’re showing how much they hate the world. Like China’s Olympics was a ‘coming out’ party to the world, this is a ‘party’s over’ message from ‘America’.
💢 Israel kills more than 50 across south Lebanon and western Bekaa in 36 hours
At least 36 people were killed by Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon on Wednesday alone, journalist Hala Jaber reported, bringing the toll over the past 36 hours to more than 50.
🔹 14 killed in Bourj al-Shamali, Tyre — including 2 children and 2 women. 4 still missing beneath rubble
🔹 6 killed in Maarakeh — search concluded Wednesday with no survivors found. An entire family, the Talibs, wiped out by a single U.S.-made bomb
🔹 5 killed in Kawthariyat al-Riz, including children among the injured
🔹 4 killed in Haboush, including 2 children
🔹 4 killed in Ansar
🔹 15 killed in Tuesday night’s massacre in Mashghara
🔹 2 paramedics killed while responding to attacks
The Talib family killed in Maarakeh is photographed below:
Hadi, Ali, Mayadah, Hassan, Malak (a nurse), Narges, Hajeh Aliyah Ahmed Saad, and Nada Hamdan. “An entire bloodline erased beneath the rubble of one home,” Jaber wrote.
Israel’s defense minister can openly talk about plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza without generating a single headline in Western media.
Does anyone want to report this?
A settler attacked a mother, her child, and their dog in their home in Masafer Yatta in a horrifying scene during the first days of Eid. Settler violence is not isolated — it is enabled by government support and international complicity
Let’s talk about Rania Mallah, killed yesterday in an Israeli strike on Bourj al-Shamali in Tyre.
For 12 hours, Rania was buried beneath the rubble & known to still be alive.
Her family kept calling her mobile phone.
She would switch it on to let them know she was still there. Still breathing. Still waiting to be rescued.
To let Lebanese Civil Defence rescuers know where she was trapped.
Rescue teams pulled others out & kept digging with their bare hands in search of her, until orders came to halt all rescue operations until the following morning.
But they had Rania’s number.
They kept calling her.
And she kept answering.
She never spoke.
But they could hear her breathing.
For 12 hours, Rania lay there alone beneath broken concrete, stones, darkness, dust & fear. Most likely injured. Listening to voices above her, knowing people were trying to reach her but were being prevented from continuing.
Just like in Maarakeh, rescuers were forced to stop searching overnight.
Still, they kept calling her phone to give her hope. To let her know she had not been abandoned.
By around 1:00 a.m., roughly 12 hours after the strike, her phone finally went dead.
The battery had most likely run out.
This morning, rescuers resumed the search.
They found Rania.
Next to her was her mobile phone.
She had died.
Israel killed her twice.
The first time with a bomb.
The second time when rescuers were prevented from saving her.
