If england required extra time to barely scrape past Cape Verde we’d be getting hounded on the timeline
Argentina do it and its “the stuff of champions” and “that’s what winners do”
What is apparent to me over the last 10 years or so is that people are comfortable with what Tottenham are. A plucky outfit that might be a problem without being one. We've shifted and people hate it. But they have to get used to it. We are not Daniel Levy's Spurs anymore.
Looking at the goal, think it's more Madueke (and Pickford) more than the right-back issue - which is still a problem.
Spence has to come across, but Madueke doesn't track.
@Imacleverer_u I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or not. We were a better team after the changes and Gordon set up two goals. I just didn’t think Spence was as bad as everyone is making out
I’m watching with my Spurs glasses on but was Djed Spence really that bad?
Other than the goal which was crap from lots of players not being in position, what did he do wrong to be battered like he has?
Every single #NUFC fan knows Sandro Tonali is very likely to leave the club this summer - but the fact that there are some real life people out there who think he will end up at SPURS over the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City is genuinely crazy 🤯
‘Waaaah city have 115 charges’
‘waaah Spurs have followed the rules for 15 years and are spending money, that shouldn’t be allowed’
‘waaaah why can’t our owners pump money in so we can do what City did’
The irony of all this is delicious.
@Pinaturbo0o I replied to someone else that he is no Reece James or Trent going forward but he’s always a very solid defender. We struggled to score and create chances again and I wouldn’t put that all on the wing backs
