@tomloveless99 I wonder if time spent is the problem, or the concept of being 100% connected always, w/ 0% downtime. Everyone is judged by all their peers, always. Schools text bad grades to parents instantly. Might a lack of safe space chip away at cognitive capacity, kind of like poverty?

@tomloveless99 you probably thought about this, but have you considered the rise of smartphones and/or social media as a factor for declining test scores? Seems consistent with the 2012-2020 window, 12yo's being affected while 9yo's aren't, and maybe also the gender gap @ 9yo.

@phubans I wouldn’t toss a thing unless it smells or tastes bad. Eggs are unrefrigerated in the store. Cheese out of fridge for a day or two is usually fine. If unopened, dairy will probably also be fine.

That is, at moderate temperatures. Might be different during a heatwave and no AC.

@bfod @mogwai_poet I think it's safe to say that every popular flash game portal out there has at some point been highly profitable. Although eventually most of them either collapsed, got acquired by media companies (e.g. Kongregate), or pivoted to apps (e.g. Miniclip).
