@PadraigBelton In 2019 Investcorp put us in the Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne during the annual firm offsite. A room mix up meant I stayed in Coco Chanel’s former apartment/suite for the weekend
@Zeffie_Zero@Babygravy9 Broke my left ankle two years ago, went to get it scanned, doc goes “looks like you had a much larger fracture here before” took me days to remember what I thought was just a sprained ankle years earlier. I was invincible in my early 20s
@ptrschmdtnlsn@JASONHA17381011 If I don’t understand any of what is being said in this thread what are the chances I get this right in half a day of trying?
@MoundLore Can you take a look at the coastal area from Ft Niagara to Olcott? Curious if any of these red dots which indicate Indian mounds appear in any farms or maybe near four mile creek state park
@GoodGuyGuaranty@Chumbus__ I live in the financial district and their bakery was a godsend. Best bread in the area and I don’t know what l’ll replace it with
@NumbarZero @MassiMassian @jakewisk @MrDanielBuck Buddy in barely 3.5 years of (college) study I learned enough of this to still read newspapers. It’s not that hard
@MoundLore@DrGregLittle2 The two highlights I can find zero info on and based on my knowledge of the area are in farms, backyards, or possibly the woodland area near/before where six mile creek enters Lake Ontario. No markers anywhere there. That woodland area would be tough to get through so maybe there
@MoundLore@DrGregLittle2 So looking at NW NY, I see the Lewiston Mound in the Artpark, then a dot for a mound I’m guessing inside Ft Niagara but I’ve never heard of one there and googling returns nothing, and then I’d REALLY like to know those two to the right of them, highlighted, or to right of that
@MoundLore@DrGregLittle2 Also these north of Tampa bay. They’re already further north than the Port Richey Oelsner mound so I have no idea what they are and can’t find on Google
@A_XENOP@lionel_trolling My elementary school on RI was part of the system, I remember sometimes seeing people put items into the tubes, always wondered where it was headed
