@Pirat_Nation Microsoft did this before when they retire Marcus in Gears of War 4, then it went silent for 6 years now they want to bring him back in prequel to boost sales
@darkenral87 Sure if it has hard mode then all problems are solved, but discussing difficulty based on demo is still legit, Team Ninja actively use feedback from demo to adjust difficulties. If there isn't hard mode planned in the official release then the feedback would make a difference
@4tytoo@NepSwirlRedux@LjCaulfield@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg Agreed, I've said similar things on other locations.
Sony affiliate it with known franchise only to ensure sales number, meanwhile people defending it like it's pure creative decision is hilarious to me.
@LjCaulfield@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg "Carried from the first game" that I agree, but my take is that it's not Kratos have to be "GoW" but that he represents the brand "GoW".
Microsoft did similar things before, they retire Markus in Gears of War 4 now they have to do prequel to bring him back.

@cajun_kilted Pretty hilarious when Sony only affiliated it with known IP out of intension to ensure sales but then we see people defending it with their lives.
@NepSwirlRedux@LjCaulfield@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg I have no problem with changing protagonists if that's what you are accusing me of, for your case, did you notice that the game is called Saros not Returnal 2 or Returnal: Saros?
@LjCaulfield@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg So your take is since there is no LITERALLY "God of War" in a game titled God of War so anyone could be its protagonist.
Then since there is not literally tomb raider in a game called Tomb Raider (Lara claimed herself archaeologist) then anybody could be its protagonist too.
@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg I don't get your point and if you got nothing to say but to refer to some random materials maybe it's not time for you to join a serious conversation.
@RyuDoVazio@Onepeg But the original trilogy revolves around that topic and whether Kratos chose or chose not to be God of War is important to his character building. Maybe I should provide a more suitable analogy, does it make sense to release a game called 007: Moneypenny?

"They're all assholes. Literally every god that exists in all of the mythologies has this really terrible relationship with power and how they abuse all of it"
"When you put all those people – like a bunch of billionaires on an island – they think they're gonna have a happy life. No, they're all going to fight each other, they're all going to be in this strange sense of conflict because they're locked in a prison"

@UpToTASK Because Control is not a series spanning for over 20 years, releasing multiple projects all FOCUSED on Jessie’s character arc, and the title Control doesn’t mean Jessie literally.
@Kaldruen You saying this like it's a fact and not something written by some guys, who used to make Kratos kill Ares with bare hands when they need him, then when they don't they made him tamed by random woman.
