Senate Majority Leader John Thune says the Senate aims to approve roughly 75 of President Trump's nominees this week while continuing bipartisan negotiations on a stopgap funding bill to avoid a government shutdown.

Thune also says he supports passing the Save America Act but notes Senate Democrats have voted against the legislation multiple times.
