if i’m keeping track with all the discourse, every movie’s main character is a self insert of the director, when you watch it you’re supposed to relate to it and fill in the blanks with your current life situation, and no movie ever is supposed to make you uncomfortable
The shot in Obsession of Sarah’s dead body in the house is the image that’s lingered with me from that movie the most because of how misogynistic and mean-spirited it is. Basically every time I think about that movie I like it less

I’ll forever miss Joker being a clown who would often tell jokes and do bits that would either annoy or amuse Batman from time to time. All we have now are Jokers who all do bad Heath Ledger impressions.
