Since the news of Senator Graham's passing, we have learned that he had not been feeling well beforehand. It has also been reported that he intended to seek medical attention the next day, after completing his work commitments, appearing on Meet the Press.

Whether his symptoms were related or not, none of us can know. But if there is one message I hope people take from this, it is simple: if you are not feeling well, please seek medical attention without delay. It may prove to be nothing, but it is always better to be evaluated than to wait.
Today, I remember that remarkable man and hope that sharing Nick’s journey of early detection, careful monitoring, and successful treatment may encourage someone else to seek help when something doesn’t feel right. If this story helps even one person receive timely care, it will be a fitting tribute to a man whose life was devoted to helping others. -
