Soybean harvest moisture can have large impacts on final yield. Multi-year study shows being aggressive with harvest pays. Likely going to be green stems to chew thru w/13-14% soybeans but yield increase should justify the extra fuel and combine hours from slower ground speed.

Same story, different year. Avg 7.2 bu/ac yield loss (shrink + harvest loss) btwn 13% & 10% harvest mst, documented over 5 years. A lot of fields “look” green from the road, but the beans are dry. Stem borer lodging will make losses even bigger this year. Don’t sit idle.

End of season corn & soybean water needs for final irrigation. Goal for corn is a “full profile” at 1/2 Milk Line on Silt / Clay loams. Any rooting restrictions limit late water availabilty
