I am a woman, and I’m actually glad that the Women’s Reservation Bill was not passed. If political parties truly intend to empower women, then there shouldn’t be a need for reservations. What is stopping them from giving tickets to women, or even to Muslim women?

Instead of subjecting the unemployed youth to such insecure employment prospects, only to save on some salary and pension expenditure, why don’t rich MPs and MLAs forego their own pensions and perks instead? That would count as real public service. #AgnipathRecruitmentScheme
