@katherineortho The whole millionaire pastor idea is really just a rarity. Most Protestant pastors are just making a normal living like most anyone else.

In fact, a vast majority of pastors are bi-vocational and have to work another job just to make ends meet.

@frjohnwhiteford @JayDyer I don’t know of any Protestant pastor who charges to do a wedding. Typically the family does give a gift to him, but he does not ask for it. & the only time a church may charge to use their facilities for a wedding is if the couple getting married are not members of the church.

If morality is just opinion or feelings, then your judgment is no more valid than the opposite. By what standard is God evil to you?

@redeemed_zoomer @MethodMinistry Serious question: if this is true, what branch of Protestantism has this authority? Does the PCUSA or another Protestant body? Seems to me that the different Protestant communions interpret Scripture differently (and I am a Protestant). Would love to hear your thoughts.

@shane_pruitt78 Shane, as much as I respect you. These types of posts demonstrate you either don’t fully understand Orthodox or Catholic teaching on this issue or that you don’t care. Actually sit down and talk with someone who is knowledgeable on this issue rather than strawmanning it.

@stoolpresidente Don’t even let me get started on the terrible officiating Auburn received during vital moments with Oklahoma and Georgia that changed the whole game. One was so bad that @SECOfficiating made a whole post about it.

@stoolpresidente You must not have watched any Auburn football this year and it shows. They might be 5-7, but every loss, was by less than 10 points. Not only that but they had opportunities to beat Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Vandy, and Alabama, but bc of horrendous play calling they lost. Know ball.

@superxtianmario I have actually visited that particular Orthodox Mission before. It is humbly beautiful on the inside. It is also a growing parish with a lot of young people.
