In Singapore this week with Korea’s Baby Unicorn startups, meeting VCs and building connections.
Two things surprised me.
First, I was shocked by how much Singapore’s venture market has shrunk. Over the last 3 years, overall venture investment here seems to have fallen by nearly 50%.
Second, I asked a room with 30+ VCs whether anyone had actually used an AI agent for a personal assistant use case, like OpenClaw. Not a single hand went up. I believe they lied...
After the official Singapore schedule ended, I tried to join AI events and meetups. What I found was basically all events are about OpenClaw 4 out of 5 days hosted directly by big tech companies.
Tuesday: @OpenAI x OpenClaw hackathon. (We built VC IC with OpenClaws with different VC personas) To be honest, it also felt like OpenAI was there to push Codex.
Wednesday: A Web3-focused OpenClaw event.
Teams like @0xmediaco , @elfa_ai , @virtuals_io , and @SurfAI shared real use cases in crypto and Web3.
Thursday: @stripe x OpenClaw.
It looked a lot like they were also pushing MPP.
Friday: Tomorrow? @NotionHQ x OpenClaw event. I will join the meetup just before going to Airport to go back home.
Seriously? Everyday? I could see how seriously big tech is thinking about the personal agent market.
Big news from Cannes: our CTO @spockwoz and PM @selanetwork joined the @ETHGlobal hackathon, built Corpus on @SelanetAI , and won among 900 participants.
Corpus: Turn any product into an autonomous AI agent corp that runs GTM, trades, and earns for you.

We built a corp in 36 hours.

I’ve had a vague version of this in mind for a while but this is great! It laid out in a way that feels operationalizable. I see once these compiled knowledge bases become valuable, more people will want to access them. Then i am wondering how people should navigate them, be indexed, how access should be structured.
