On 29th May 2026. SCI and their SRHR groups of Etoleni and Etori Bali conducted a powerful dialogue on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) centering child mothers &the men who choose to stand with them. We heard testimonies from mothers.

A team from Selfless Compassion Initiative paeticipated in a comprehensive two days training workshop titled "Advanced Rights-Based Advocacy for Grassroots Organizations." The training, facilitated by WECISNET , CEFORD, ICS under the SEAT Project.
Yesterday SCI CEO Freda Apio represented CSOs on Arua One FM talk show by @ICWEA, discussing ending GBV & improving access to SRHR.
She emphasized urgent action against child marriage and the need for community awareness.

On 18/03/2025 SCI, WEID and Justice Center conducted a community engagement for SCI women group of Olumini village, Driwala ward to address challenges of GBV in our community. The engagement raised awareness, promoted dialogue developed strategies for GBV prevention and response
SCI participated in 3 days training organized by Women's International Peace Centre for women peace mediators of Arua City/ District in conflict prevention and resolution which introduced them to Women's Situation Room mechanism and created networks of women peace advocates.
Day 2 still has a great vibe and am enjoying West Nile SRHR Symposium. This has brought together diverse stakeholders, interactive sessions just like @mercy munduru who brought it up that the time for talking ended long time we should be practical and workable.
