90% of people suffer through this EPFO issue sooner or later in their career...
I was unable to transfer my EPF balance from my last employer to my current employer, even though none of the companies are exempted PF trusts and my previous transfers had gone through without any issues.
After digging deeper, the root cause were :
☑️ My previous employer hadn't deposited EPS contributions, even though the employer before that had.
☑️ Based on those records, my current employer also stopped contributing to EPS from the day I joined.
I reached out to two well known EPF solution startups.
😭The quote? ₹45,000 to get everything fixed.
I decided to do it myself instead.
Here's the plan:
✅ Step 1: Get my current employer to start EPS contributions correctly going forward. (Done)
⏳ Step 2: Get my current employer to file a Form 3A to rectify the last 8 months of contributions (HR is working on it)
⏳ Step 3: Get my previous employer to file a revised Form 3A for my entire tenure with them. I've already spoken with in-house payroll team, have their 3A Acknowledgement form which was raised (Logged an EPFO grievance today)
What would've cost me ₹45,000 is now mostly costing me time, follow-ups and patience.
Thanks @RetireRightInd for guidance
If you're facing an EPF transfer issue, don't assume it's impossible to fix. Sometimes it's just a clerical error that needs persistence rather than a consultant.
Suppose you have interviews scheduled for these 70LPA-1Cr+ CTC roles:
Google L5 /

Go through these 27 core system design concepts and problems.
How many can you reason through in a 1-hour round if the interviewer injects one of them into your design or asks as a follow-up? How much clarity do you have?

Most candidates prepare for:
- “Design Uber.”
- “Design Twitter.”
- “Design Dropbox.”
These generic prompts are good for beginners, but at senior levels, depth matters. Strong candidates prepare for the even minute problems that can cause disasters at scale.

Dark on Netflix broke my brain. There's a character who is both someone's mother and their daughter. Same person. The family tree is so tangled that Netflix had to build a whole separate website (https://t.co/CIeiumSTc4) just so viewers could track who's related to who.
The show starts simple. A kid disappears in a small German town next to a nuclear power plant. Feels like a crime show. Then around episode 3, something shifts, and you realize the show has been quietly setting up a completely different kind of story the whole time. I won't spoil what kind.
Every one of the 30 critics who reviewed Season 2 gave it a positive score. All 30. Viewer ratings on IMDb go up each season, from 8.8 to 9.1 to 9.2, which almost never happens in TV. Shows usually peak early and coast from there. Dark gets tighter. When Rotten Tomatoes ran a user vote to crown the best Netflix original series ever made, Dark won. Beat Black Mirror in the final round.
90% of the people who watched this show aren't from Germany. In Japan, 3 out of 4 viewers chose to watch it in German with subtitles instead of dubbed. In South Korea, over 90% did the same. You don't read subtitles for 26 hours of television by accident.
Three seasons. 26 episodes. Written as one complete story with a planned ending. Watch it in German with subtitles and don't look up a single thing until you're done. Nearly six years after it ended, 217,000 people on Reddit are still arguing about the family tree.

The daughter of a company owner fell in love with a Mu$lim boy...
She was madly in love and defied her parents' wishes.
Feeling helpless, her parents sought the advice of a friend.
The friend's family and their family subsequently went on a picnic together.
During the picnic, the friend made it clear that she was on the girl's side.
She stated that all religions are equal and that the parents should allow the marriage to take place.
Consequently, the girl began to view this friend as her pillar of support.
Meanwhile, the boy's calls continued to come in intermittently.
The friend took the girl aside, handed her a book translated into Marathi, and said, "You are about to marry a Mu$lim boy, so you ought to be familiar with his culture."
The name of the book: *Not Without My Daughter* (Marathi Translation)
The girl began reading the book at 11:30 PM, and within just a few minutes, she was knocking on her friend's bedroom door.
Her eyes were filled with tears. She said, "This is terrifying; I will not marry him."
The friend, however, did not alter her stance. She reasoned with her, "Even if the religion is such, is your love true?
If so, let's do this: ask him to embrace the Hindu faith, and we will arrange your marriage. I will convince your father."
The girl liked this idea and immediately called the boy to convey all of this to him.
To this, the boy retorted, "What makes you think I would change my religion for the sake of a 'two-percent prostitute' like you?"
His words seared into the girl's ears as if molten lead had been poured into them.
She realized—with crushing clarity—her true worth in the eyes of the very boy she loved more than life itself, and for whom she had defied her own parents.
She then flatly refused to go ahead with the marriage.
