@NHLBlackhawks@NHLPR putting out a link to the German language ticket info. Super. Why does this league not want to grow? Or take North American fans for granted?
I’ve abandoned this cesspool of a site but wanted to share something truly good here - @NHLJets incredibly well done piece on Jonathan Toews return to Chicago. Thank you, thank you for documenting it so well. As a @NHLBlackhawks fan I’m eternally grateful

@The1Tab@mom2sapphires No the part you articulated is of benefit. The team benefits from someone having to play well enough to knock him out of the lineup. He also benefits from real competition. (And I’m feeling attacked here, whether that’s the intention of your response or not, so I’m tapping out)
@The1Tab@mom2sapphires Been mulling it a bit - also there’s a need for a 7th D who won’t be adversely impacted by sitting out occasionally. It was the chatter heading into FA, some may have forgotten. So there’s benefit for team and player. Again. Seems to be how GMKD / Kyle from Chicago rolls.
@mom2sapphires@The1Tab Really wondering what’s behind this. Feels like the Blackhawks are bursting at the seams with LHD at or on the brink of NHL ready. 🤔 (cue the “play the kids” Twitter meatballs in 5, 4, 3…)
@ByScottPowers@johnskrb@ByScottPowers preps cred always there!! Love that you went to this game. And that West was in the stands for the Blackhawks prospects game last night.
@OviClapBomb@Harian_Mossa I’m with @Harian_Mossa - 3 years at a decent AAV for player and team is kinda perfect. Motivates Knight to prove he’s the guy and at the back end he will be 28, the cap will be up, and max term is 7 years. Timing is great for both.
@Acaffarella7198@The1Tab Blackhawks y bought 1 year of FA meaning the next deal is when Knight is 28 and the cap will be up considerably. Also under the new CBA the max term the team can get an extension for is 7 (down from 8) years.
