@amerrill2 You already have fans and an audience.
Tap that. It may not be as great as a sponsored project, but for the work you've put in, it may be a reliable trickle of something. Also, if you can do it smart, and minimize costs, you have very little lose, no?
As a guy who appreciates a good ghost town, I am popping my head in and unable to deny... Twitter, or at least people's limited responses to my tweets (historically) have become downright deserted.
I can't even see who the few responses that once-upon-a-time took the effort are.
@IHOP Hi. Just spent 30 minutes wrangling with postmates(ubereats) to have them eventually throw you guys under the bus for a wholly incorrect order delivery. Wondering if your support can do better than theirs? Figured you guys might actually be up Saturday morning... ~shrugs~
@Uber_Support Hi. Just got some of the worst, most time consuming support from "postmates" that I've ever gotten, which ultimately lead to "throw the eatery under the bus because we don't know what to do" service. Are you interested in maybe helping or just buck passing?
@IHOP
Hi. I just got some of the worst support ever from Postmates (Ubereats) and they're totally throwing you guys under the bus. Any help, or just willing to split the different and assume that neither of you care about paying customers? : /
@Postmates_Help@Uber_Support@Postmates_Help I sent Uber a message today about a new issue, because they sent me an email from Uber about the issue. It does relate to Postmates, though. The issue you DMd me about is an entirely different issue.
@Uber_Support Hi. I'm having trouble with an order that an Uber Eats driver has said was not delivered, but which I am looking at the containers from right now. They are also making some false claims. I need to speak with someone.
I think I'm done trying to coax conversation out of the void here, at least for now.
I'll be available via all the non-social media channels.
Survive while you want. Smile when you can.
@EllenJRogers Neon Demon offers some fairly amazing visual moments. Eh.
Baskin and Terrified offer something unusual, that I think is beautiful in their own ways, where the visuals conjure more out of the work than the scripts might on their own.
The Last Winter.
And... Ninth Configuration.
A few bottles of wine, some decompression, and all is... well, can't say all is right with the world, but I no longer wish to mass energy convert at a cellular level and destroy my city. So I got that going for me.
