October 7, 2023, was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. We have a moral obligation to ensure its victims are never forgotten.

Proud to announce our historic plan for New York State’s first permanent October 7 memorial in Gravesend, alongside @SenatorSutton, @SpeakerMenin, @MarkLevineNYC & elected leaders united in remembrance.

We owe the 1,200 innocent lives murdered that day more than our prayers and words. We owe them a permanent place in our history. Never forget. Never again.

[Yeruchim Silber @ysilber]

On this incredibly solemn day, I was proud to stand with elected officials and community members in Brooklyn to honor the victims of the horrific October 7th terrorist attacks and stand with all those whose lives were forever changed.

Three years later, we must ensure their memories endure. That’s why we are calling for the creation of New York’s first permanent October 7th memorial to remember the lives lost, honor the survivors, and ensure we never forget.
