@hughp1970 @fesshole May not be possession as such, though it may be. Potentially there are multiple dimensions overlaying our world, with entities of "sprit" which interact w/ us. May sound crazy, but not impossible. Certainly impossibleto say for sure that demonic possession is "not a thing".

Probably. But it's important to remember a solid portion of immigrants are genuinely here because they admire brithish values and want to be british. That's a good thing. Maybe not him, who knows, but don't lose that truth in the noise.

@MrPMHarrison Sounds like a pretty average upper-class chap. Plenty of them have been decent and gone on to do well in the past. A person can't help how they grew up.

The Internet is almost all crazy people. I would say maybe 50% of people post regularly. Less than 1% post about anything controversial.

It's wild that our entire discourse and outlook on what everyone thinks is driven by what a tiny minority is most loudly screaming online.

@thecaptain_nemo I know it's a meme to say "they were just trying to feed their family!" But for a lot that was literally true. People were deported for sweet f all. My ancestor was shipped over for stealing a coat. Deportation was the best thing that ever happened to many. Ironically freeing.
