@barley_ellen Many teachers in our district were having a hard time with the switch from Google Classroom to Schoology, but I've been using it for a few years and find it works perfectly for my class!

#instdes20 A7: Honestly, our district is using Schoology and while some people are still getting used to it, I think it has a lot to offer to help with equity of access!

#instdes20 A5: Our district has tried to provide equitable access by providing 1:1 devices and doing our best to ensure all tech tools are accessible on our LMS. We are also recording our live Zooms so if students are unavailable during scheduled times they can still access it.

#instdes20 A2: Our district provides 1 to 1 devices for all students 6-12, but I think they even have devices for each student in elementary grades as well. And as a language teacher, I am BIG into celebrating different cultures!

#instdes20 A3: I love PD that is broken into mini sessions tailored to different skill levels! That way beginners get a basic intro and advanced users get a deep dive!

#instdes20 A2: My district recently did an intense Schoology bootcamp led by our peers since we are adopting it K-12 this year. It was great to learn from people in the same district who know the exact circumstances we are facing!
