Disturbing testimony from witness going by the name of "Rene" who claims that he suffered physical, psychological and sexual abuse in the hands of Pastor Quiboloy's cult and SMNI heads.

The cult allegedly lured him and other minors to beg in the streets and malls of Metro Manila to raise funds for their enterprise with promises of educational scholarships. They were told reach daily quotas of P3,000 pesos for the cult by pretending to be hungry, disabled or poverty-stricken children and then severely beaten and kept in isolation at the cult's compound in Davao.

He claims he was also forced to be a landscaper at Quiboloy's Davao mansion and suffered physical abuse in his hands. Rene also reported that he was also a victim of sexual abuse by one of the male officers of the cult when he worked as his personal assistant, in addition to working as an unpaid researcher in the SMNI newsroom, where he also allegedly suffered abuse from his boss whilst still being forced to beg in the streets in the evening.

While still at Quiboloy's "Glory Mountain" compound, Rene revealed that he himself saw former president Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte visiting there to pick up large bags of what he said contained different types of guns. that Quiboloy brought there in a chopper.

Self-confessed Davao Death Squad hitman Arturo Lascanas also mentioned that Quiboloy was allegedly supplying Duterte with weapons and that the pastor was transporting the bulk of the guns in a chopper.

The DSWD has promised Senator Risa Hontiveros that they will contact investigations into Pastor Quiboloy's charities for potential human trafficking for labor exploitation..
