@DrWinnieChen My first thoughts were that this is pretty dodgy to do without consent. But maybe the flip side was that they were going to send out letters to "high referring" GP's anyways so decided to assess whether it actually has an effect?

By malnourished are you referring to inadequate just the calcium/phosphate or are there other nutrient deficiencies you are also concerned about. Would be interesting to know if there are changes in PTH or FGF23 levels with supplementation.
