கடந்த ஐந்தாண்டு காலத்தில் ஏராளமான திட்டங்களை உருவாக்கி, தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு நல்லாட்சியை வழங்கினோம். தமிழ்நாட்டை அனைத்து வகையிலும் உயர்த்தினோம். தேர்தல் களத்தில் எங்களது சாதனைகளைச் சொல்லியே வாக்குகளைக் கேட்டோம்.

மக்களுக்குச் செய்து கொடுத்த நலத்திட்டங்கள் தொடருவதற்கு வாக்கு கேட்டு நாங்கள் பரப்புரை செய்தோம்.

திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் தலைமையிலான மதச்சார்பற்ற முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணியை ஆதரித்து வாக்களித்த தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நான் எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

வாக்களித்தவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, வாக்களிக்க மறந்தவர்களுக்கும் சேர்த்தே ஆட்சி நடத்தினேன்.

அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் உண்மையாக இருந்தேன். நான் எனது மனச்சாட்சிப்படியே செயல்பட்டேன்.

நான் எனது சக்தியை மீறி உழைத்தேன். என்னைப் போன்றே களத்தில் உழைத்த என் உயிரோடு கலந்திருக்கும் தலைவர் கலைஞரின் அன்பு உடன்பிறப்புகள் அனைவருக்கும் எனது நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றி!

எங்களோடு தோளோடு தோள் நின்ற தோழமை இயக்கத் தலைவர்கள், நிர்வாகிகள், தொண்டர்கள்
அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி !

எனது அரசியல் பொதுவாழ்வில் அதிகப்படியான வெற்றியையும் பார்த்துள்ளேன்; தோல்விகளையும் சந்தித்துள்ளேன்.

எனவே இலட்சியமும் கொள்கையும்தான் முக்கியமே தவிர, வெற்றி தோல்விகள் மட்டுமல்ல என்று செயல்படக் கூடியவன் நான்.

அதனால் திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் அரசியல் பயணம் தொய்வில்லாமல் தொடரும்.

இதுவரை மக்களுக்காகச் சிறப்பான ஆளும்கட்சியாகச் செயல்பட்ட தி.மு.க. - இனி சிறப்பான எதிர்க்கட்சியாகச் செயல்படும்.

இன்று நீங்கள் அளிக்கப் போவது வாக்கல்ல; தமிழ்நாட்டைக் காக்க நீங்கள் ஏந்தும் கேடயம்! உங்கள் வாக்குதான் தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள ஒவ்வொருவரின் எதிர்காலத்தையும் தீர்மானிக்கும்.

ஜனநாயகம் - மதச்சார்பின்மை - மாநில உரிமைகள் - சமத்துவம் - சமூகநீதி ஆகிய அரசியலமைப்பின் உயர்ந்த விழுமியங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் உங்களின் வாக்கு அமையட்டும்!

I’m a Telugu journalist based out of Hyderabad and I’m writing this on behalf of EVERY SOUTH INDIAN STATE.
India needs to pay URGENT attention !!

This is not delimitation. This is political punishment.
Punishment for controlling population.
Punishment for investing in education.
Punishment for doing exactly what the nation asked us to do.

For decades, South Indian states acted responsibly , built human capital, strengthened public systems, and contributed disproportionately to India’s economy.

And now, the reward?
Fewer voices in Parliament.
Let that sink in.
States that governed better are being pushed to the margins, while political power shifts purely on population numbers.

This is not federalism. This is a structural imbalance in the making.
Is India still a Union of States or are we heading toward permanent dominance by a few, at the cost of others?

Representation cannot come at the cost of balance.

Democracy cannot mean silencing those who performed better.

If delimitation happens without safeguards, it won’t just redraw constituencies , it will redraw the idea of India itself.
SOUTH INDIA IS NOT ASKING FOR PRIVELEGE.
It is asking for fairness.

I’m a Gujarati. Born and brought up in Chennai.

Tamil is the language I heard on the streets. In buses. In shops. In friendships. In daily life.

It shaped me as much as Gujarati did. So when this debate comes up, I don’t see it as North vs South. I see it as respect vs entitlement.

Yes, Hindi matters. If you want to do business with the North, work there, travel there of course it helps. I use it too. No insecurity about that.

But there’s a difference between learning a language
and forcing a language. Forcing never builds unity. It only builds resistance.

The South doesn’t have “one language”. It has many. Each with centuries of history, poetry, emotion, identity.

These languages won’t die in one generation. They’ll die slowly. When people stop valuing them. When children stop hearing them. When others refuse to learn them.

And that’s how cultures disappear.

If I choose to live in Tamil Nadu,
do business here, build my life here… then learning Tamil isn’t “adjustment”.

It’s gratitude. It’s saying….This place gave me opportunity. I’ll give it respect.

India was never meant to sound the same everywhere.

Our power is in our accents.
Our scripts. Our stories.

Many languages. One country.

That’s civilisation.

'கோயில் நகர்' மதுரைக்கும், 'தென்னிந்திய மான்செஸ்டர்' கோவைக்கும் "NO METRO" என நிராகரித்துள்ளது ஒன்றிய பா.ஜ.க. அரசு!

அனைவருக்கும் பொதுவானதாகச் செயல்படுவதுதான் அரசுக்கான இலக்கணம். அதற்கு மாறாக, பா.ஜ.க.வைத் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் நிராகரிப்பதற்காக இப்படி பழிவாங்குவது கீழ்மையான போக்கு. பா.ஜ.க. ஆளும் மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள சிறிய இரண்டாம் நிலை மாநகரங்களுக்குக் கூட மெட்ரோ ரயிலுக்கான ஒப்புதல் வழங்கிவிட்டு, எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் ஆளும் மாநிலங்களைப் புறக்கணிப்பது அழகல்ல. கூட்டாட்சிக் கருத்தியலை இப்படி சிதைப்பதைச் சுயமரியாதைமிக்க மண்ணான தமிழ்நாடு ஒருபோதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாது.

சென்னை மெட்ரோ பணிகளைத் தாமதப்படுத்தி முடக்க நடந்த முயற்சிகளை முறியடித்து முன்னேறினோம்! அதேபோல மதுரை & கோவையிலும் வருங்கால வளர்ச்சிக்கு இன்றியமையாத தேவையான மெட்ரோ இரயிலைக் கொண்டு வருவோம்!

The Union BJP government has denied Metro Rail for ‘Temple City’ Madurai and for ‘South India’s Manchester’, Coimbatore, on flimsy grounds.

A government exists to serve people without bias. Yet the Union #BJP treats #TamilNadu’s democratic choice as a reason to take revenge. Pushing such a political custom, in which BJP ruled states get Metros for smaller Tier II cities while opposition ruled States are deprived, is a disgraceful approach. Tamil Nadu, the land of #SelfRespect, will never accept such a distortion of federal principles.

They attempted to stall the #Chennai Metro, and we overcame those malicious attempts and kept the project progressing. With the same determination, we will secure the #MetroRail that #Madurai and #Coimbatore need for their future growth.

Tamil Nadu will fight! Tamil Nadu will win!

பன்முகத்தன்மை கொண்ட, வேற்றுமையில் ஒற்றுமையைக் காணும் பெருமைமிக்க இந்தியாவில், இந்துக்களுக்கும் முஸ்லீம்களுக்கும் பகையை வளர்ப்பது, தமிழர்களுக்கும் பீகார் மக்களுக்கும் பகை உண்டாக்கும்படி நடந்துகொள்வது போன்ற அற்ப அரசியல் செயல்பாடுகளை நிறுத்திவிட்டு, நாட்டின் நலன் மீது பிரதமரும் பா.ஜ.க.,வினரும் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும் என வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.
