Best thing about twin peaks is that cooper rolls into town and Truman likes him and vice versa . There is no smart city slicker butting heads with yokel sheriff stuff.
Truman just goes with all coopers weird ideas and cooper truly loves them and the town.

I think what charmed me the most about Twin Peaks was David's ability to create characters who were so eccentric and unique in their way but still have them feel grounded to the setting they existed in. He understood magic realism and surrealism so well it literally awes me
